Nice clean hotel, good atmosphere

Posted 30-Nov-2014
Only down side was woken up early hours(5.30) by stag doos running about banging on doors etc person in front was also complaining and was on another floor. If there going to let a few party's in maybe security needs looked at when people are returning to the hotel as they must see them on the cameras.

Great hotel

Lovely hotel inside and out, food in the bar was a little disappointing but will put that down to a hangover, perfect hub for a weekend away, staff incredibly helpful! About 20 quid in a taxi from town centre although if theres a few in your party it works out great! Would return! Rooms were great! Not a bad word to say at all!

Not worth the money

Posted 15-Nov-2014
Pros: Very little to expensive for what it is This was a buisness stay and was paid for if I'd been spending my own money I certainly wouldn't have
Cons: Reduce the price so it is befitting the hotel Reduce the noise level room 116 Get rid of the kitchen smells
Location: Location is near a major City centre what do you expect
Very expensive Breakfast staff inattentive Room 116 load music still audible after 11 o'clock when your staying there on a business level and need your piece and quiet in order to get up next dat fully refreshed this is not acceptable Cooking smells from the extraction duct entering my room

Fab hotel

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Stayed for one night and will definitely be back. The front desk added a complimentary 12pm check out time (it's a standard thing they can do if you ask ), offered to make ne a dinner reservation, we're super friendly and gave a great first impression. The bed in ththe standard double I booked was huge and extreme comfortable, the extra pillow in therror wardrobe was a welcome addition. Room was extremely clean, toiletries were well stocked, we ordered room service and the quality was excellent. A definite top notch stay!

Basic

Very tired hotel, the bar and restaurant are some what like weather spoons. Defiantly not a 4 star! On a positive note the gym is great.

Very lively hotel with lots going on weddings etc

Posted 01-Oct-2014
A bit out on its own with nothing much else than the hotel. Seems to be a favourite place for big parties and weddings etc so a bit noisy overall.

Hotel was okay about the norm for a Village. We've stayed at a lot of Marriot and Hilton hotels recently so my expectations were possibly a little high. The place was clean and staff friendly enough I would have expected better service in the restaurant (Buca), it was a bit slow and I'm not sure the staff could really be bothered. I used the leisure facilities which were very well equipped although I would have liked it to open a bit earlier than 8am on a Sunday (yes I'm one of those early risers). all in all I'd say 3.5 out of 5
