“Tired decor, but staff mostly friendly”

We found the decor of the hotel tired and desperate need of spicing up But the staff were mostly helpful and friendly

“Not the top of my list”

Our room was cold and we were unable to turn the heating on from within the room. The gym was cramped but we were still able to use all equipment, however there was no sun capsule as advertised on the hotel website. The Consierge was not available when we arrived but did help us out with tourist info when asked. Hotel is walking distance to good food outlets, the breakfast price in the hotel was way over the top. Overall, I would go back but not before checking out other options first

“Not impressed”

Room was cold, heating didn't come on apparently until late afternoon, not good for March in Newcastle. Bed was allegedly a Queen but was in fact a double. Room overlooked main east coast rail line so was very noisy.
