“very comfortable”

spent 2 nights with my teenage boys to have a spending spree at the MetroCentre. Hotel was very well located for this and the added bonus of McD, Pizza Hut and Asda next door. Non smoking room smelled faintly of smoke but was otherwise very clean. Beds were enormous and very comfy. The spa bath was a lovely treat we all enjoyed. 1st night we ate in the restaurant - we were advised to book but we were one of perhaps 5 other tables seated. The meal was very tasty - I had steak and 1 son had a cheeseburger -though it took almost an hour from ordering to arrive at our table. 2nd son had pasta which was soggy and tasteless but all in all we enjoyed the food. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful -would certainly visit again and recommend to others.

“Ideal for Metro Centre”

Great for winding down after a busy shopping spree at the Metro Centre. Swimming, sauna and good food + bar. Excellent service from staff.

“Convenient for City centre but...”

It's a bit of a way out of the (Newcastle) city centre (10mins on the #100 bus) but that said, if you want a hotel convenient for the Metro Centre this is THE ONE. Hotel staff v.polite and v.helpful. Some of my colleagues stayed in the city centre at the Newgate, Royal Station, Clifton, 2 Premier Inns and a Travelodge and judging from their feedback I have no complaints whatosever.!

“Comfortable and convenient.”

A good, large room with huge bed. Pleasant check in experience and very friendly staff all round. Dinner was very good in restaurant, but breakfast, whilst a large selection was not freshly cooked and was a buffet. So not quite "ten out of ten". But would definitely stay there again.
