5/5 Excellent
Nice, clean comfortable hotel.
"Nice, clean comfortable hotel. Easy to access from the A1.
Location is in the middle of a shopping area with several retail parks and a shopping centre.
The only fault I found was the restaurant wasn't open during the week. Food was served in the bar, which is too small to accommodate everyone who wants to eat. It would be very simple to allow people to sit in the restaurant area and bring bar food to them there, rather than be frustrated waiting for a table."

"The staff are very helpful and friendly and good at their jobs including reception staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff. Breakfast is lovely and fresh with lots of choice and staff warm and efficient. Great location as you can walk out onto the Quayside area and the Millenium Bridge. No traffic. View of river. No traffic noise in rooms.
Lovely clean rooms with plenty of hot water. Efficient room service."

"Kath, Hannah and Andrea (the breakfast team) were very friendly and helpful and always had smiles to greet me with. The evening meal team were equally friendly and helpful. The reception team (Rebecca and Katrina to mane just two) at Check-in and Check-out were very friendly and when I raised an issue about the hot water in room 235 in the morning they got it sorted and informed me when I came back in the evening.
The food was good with fast service and a good atmosphere.
The gym staff were friendly too and Vanessa always had a smile on her face and made you feel welcome.
I've stayed here on my previous trips to Newcastle and wouldn't hesitate to do so again."
