“Suitable for a stopover / weekend break”
This hotel, though not right in the centre of Newcastle, was close enough to make access easy by car or metro. Ideal for a stopover or weekend break, the hotel was modern and functional. The 'hot' part of the buffet breakfast was a bit basic, but there was plenty of food on offer. Breakfast buffet area doubled up as an evening lounge area with bar and Sky TV.
“excellent hotel, bit quiet at night, but adequate selection of eating places.”
Go to this hotel if you want quality, value for money, good service from a friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast. It is a wee bit away from the centre, but not that far. Although the hotel has 4 floors, we never heard a sound.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I have to say the Geordies are very helpful and exceptionally nice people. We (two couples) had a fab time........x

good
“Exoress service?”
Apart from the booking error the hotel and staff were very good. The room was clean and tidy but could do with blackout curtains, especially as the exteriorislit at night. Breakfast was poor . A buffet and cowded. We run a B and B so have a professionalview!
“Handy location for city centre and metro centre”
We came from Cumbria and it was a perfect location. It is handy for the metro centre, and a short straightforward drive to the city centre. Within a few minutes walk are Frankie and Bennys, and TGI fridays and a pub, ideal for an evening meal. The breakfast was great. Unfortunately my son needed the toilet during breakfast. I took him to the downstairs toilets, but every one was so filthy, I had to take him back up to the room. Our room stunk of cigarette smoke, which we found vile. The check in was slow.
“Would go back”
Nice location close to motorway, restaurants and Metro centre. Nice comfortable room, more than adequate breakfast included, free parking. Good value.
“Very good value through Expedia saved by booking early”
Booked for one night before we went to look around Newcastle University. I asked for twin beds and this was provided - the staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was a bit manic with a lot of people appearing to overindulge in the free buffet with food running out quickly. The staff were however very efficient in replenishing - apple juice had run out while we were there and the orange juice cannot be described as fresh - more squash but for the price paid I would say the continental style breakfast was acceptable. I would recommend this hotel for a quick stop but don't expect 5 star quality - you get a clean room with good cable television - slightly upmarket from a Travellodge or Premier Inn.
“Wonderful hotel”
We were especially impressed with the friendliness of the front desk. They were helpful and pleasant and eager to please.
“Average place, average price, just about what you would expect, a place to put your head down, nothi”
Average place, average price, just about what you would expect, a place to put your head down, nothing more or less
“Très bon rapport qualité-prix”
Hôtel très agréable, chambre propre et fonctionnelle, personnel souriant: une très bonne surprise, probablement le meilleur de la catégorie.
