Pros: Position.
This hotel is perched on a ridge with great views from the restaurant and pool area. Property is a bit tired and "old motel" style, but was clean and comfortable. The Duty Manager was very efficient and helpful. When we arrived at the restaurant the waitress advised that she was the only one working and apologised in advance for any delays. However there weren't any and it was fine. A glass of red wine that tasted decidedly "off" was quickly replaced.

Pros: Staff good, breakfast good.
Cons: Distance from newcastle city was 10Km and taxi bills added up, but at the time of booking i knew that, worked out ok.
