“Hiccups in the beginning...”

Checked into room to find wet hair plastered along shower stall along with a mildew smell. We called the front desk of course and were given 2 options--allow cleaning staff to come in and clean bathroom OR change rooms. Of course we choose option 2. We were placed in a clean room and received a comped breakfast. We also received 2 complimentary drinks at the bar after joining their membership club free of charge. There were hiccups in the beginning but I would definitely recommend the W. You really can't beat the location.

“Our top pick”

The W is a perfect spot and very convenient to all the entertainment venues. The service was wonderful and we enjoyed all of the amenities they offered. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. You almost did not want to get out!

“Pleasantly surprised”

Our room was supposed to be non smoking 'wonderful king' but what they had was a king on a smoking floor. To compensate they did this.... fresh comforters, sheets etc. / Iodizied the room / free car valet ($60) / 4 free drinks($80) / free breakfast room service for two ($60)..they went above and beyond to compensate for the mixup. Furthermore, there was no smell of smoke in the room. I was impressed with them, and I would recommend them.

“Perfect location if you want to stay in Times Square”

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Service was exceptional. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The bath products are now officially my favorite! The only problem that I encountered was the elevators were very frustrating. You have to use your room key for access to different floors and it frequently didn't function properly.

“times square best location hotel”

the hotel is located in one of the best areas in NYC its really wounderful they have a nice loung in the 7th floor. in the room there is a nice bathroom. the only two problem that i had is the room was not clear enough for a 4 stars hotel and the parking cost 65 dollar per night. if the bring your car twice in one day they will take 130 dollar just for vallet

“The hotel was hip but the room was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel.”

The internet stated that it had a tub but when we got to the room there was only a standing shower. We moved rooms twice in order to finally get a tub but the room was not very good. The bathrrom door sounded like a factory door when we opened or closed it. The ironing board was difficult to open and close. The keys to get in the room took a long time to work. The fan in the bathroom did not work. The hotel was very fun, lots of music, great location and the service was wonderful but there rooms were not impressive at all. Overall, when I go to a four star hotel and pay qite a bit of money for it, I expect everything to work in the room.
