“Perfect!!!”
My 15 yr old son and i stayed in a "jr spa suite". The room was large enough for each of us to have our own space. The hotel was incredibly convenient and exceeded my expectations.
“good value for your money”
very satisfied ,excellent location ,very warm staff will get out of their way to help you ,rooms little small but very clean, I paid 3 times as much at the Essex house around the corner just 2 weeks befor that and ii had terrible experience with their staff, will defenitly go back
“A little more than what I expected”
Hotel staff was friendly, -the only bad part about the room was that there was no natural lighting, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom adequately stocked
“Take some ear plugs!”
The air conditioning generators outside my window were very noisy, even when I had got moved to the 6th floor. The rooms are also tired and the views from the window were awful, basically a brick wall. There are better hotels in the vicinity.
“Overrated”
This hotel was booked as a "luxury boutique four-star hotel," and as such I paid a premium price for the "Superior King Room" I reserved during a recent weekend to New York. Unfortunately, I did not get what I paid for. The tiny room had no windows, no mini-fridge (which was promised and would've been nice) and barely enough room for two slender people to navigate. The layout was such that the toilet was in the middle of the room (alone) and encased in the same paper-thin walls that separate the hotel rooms from one another and from the halls and elevator shaft (which was adjacent to our room). As a result, we heard a lot of things throughout the nights/early mornings which we really didn't need to hear....ugh. The bar is nice to look at, but don't make my mistake and pay $15 for a 6oz sangria which was mostly juice and ice. Next time, I would stay at a chain hotel.
“Great hotel, great location, great staff!”
Can't wait to go back!
“Tiny rooms”
OK for one night, but the room was so small that my teenagers abandoned me to spend the night with a friend in the dorm. The only window looked out to another building so it didn't let in much light. Even if I had been able to open the curtain, the room still would have been dark. Great bathroom, though.
“Convenient Midtown Location”
Room is simple but comfortable, clean, and very convenient to Midtown venues. Hotel breakfast restaurant had an easy continental breakfast option or ordering from a menu. Taxi or limo reservations were handled by the front desk without complaint. A copy of our bill was available the next day on the email account we provided.
“Great Boutique Hotel in Midtown”
Shoreham is a modern renovated boutique hotel. Staff was very welcoming by offering a glass of champagne upon arrival. We has a junior suite which has a very comfortable futon in the living room. It also had the biggest bathroom I have ever seen in any hotel. Beds were comfortable and the service great. We had no view, but that meant there was no noise in the morning! The heater was a little noisy, but that's everywhere in NY.
“Great part of New York”
The Shoreham is in a great part of NYC, for shopping and the arts. MOMA is just around the corner. You can walk to Broadway shows, and the Lincoln centre for Opera, Ballet and orchestral concerts. And very close to Central park. A great location.
