“Hotel Review”
Good Hotel, 2 blocks from Times Square (10 minute Walk). Excellent service from the hotel reception staff. We were caught in Hurricane Irene and the Desk staff spent hours on the phone to re-arrange our flights for us very polite and very efficient. The hotel provided food as everywhere was closed. Our room (Suite) was idea as we had Children. Good Facilities. Went into the Gym, look reasonable equipped but I am not an expert. If we return we would go back to this Hotel, I hope this helps enjoy your holiday,
“Brilliant”
Only come to visit this hotel if you expect the best
“would definitely go back based on last 2 visits - 2010 and 2011”
Iroquois was recommended several years ago by ladies I know. Last year, needed a hotel to go to In New York and remembered their recommendation - clean, boutique hotel in central location. Booked a weekend stay and was very pleased. Booked again this year and am very pleased. Would definitely recommend the Iroquois.
“Super location”
The location was awsome, only a couple of blocks from time square. Close to the theatre district. Easy to get around on foot to most points of interest in midtown, and beyond. Very quiet eventhough so close to timesquare. The only criticism is the room was tiny. A superior room with queen. Did not spend much time in the room, so was not a problem.
“Super location”
Just back from The Iroquois having spent the holiday weekend there. Perfectly positioned for walking to shops in Time Sq and Fifth Ave. If you are a walker can access Central Park and down to Greenwich the other way. Very quiet hotel even though you are close to everything. Friendly staff, always eager to help. Comfy beds.Lots of places to eat nearby. Would recommend.
“Great city break in the heart of NYC”
Staff were very helpful. We loved the location, easy walking to much of NYC (well midtown at least). And plenty of restaurants, bars to choose from. Because the hotel is small, and due to the cosy foyer and warm drinks (loved the hot apple cider) the Iroquois created a warm, homely feel, which was good since we stayed 8 nights.
“Wonderful place”
The Iroquois was really a pleasant surprise when we first arrived. Everyone treats you like long lost family. Our room was clean when we first arrived and stayed that way always. We had an issue with the safe and it was resolved within 3 minutes after we called. Heavy washrags and towels are important to me and they were very full. Bedding comfortable and nice. The room is small and may be a concern to some but we do not worry since we don't live there. The location is just a couple blocks from Times Square and Radio City hall and the theaters and shopping on 5th ave and the subways. Excellent Location! It was a bit of s walk to the piers for the harbour tour and to Central park but we made it fine. We looked at cheaper hotel in our search but decided after adding all the amenities (wireless, etc.) this was just as reasonable and did not regret our decision after the stay. Highly recommend!!!
“Would definitely stay here again!”
It is a lovely boutique hotel and they I would def. stay there again!
“It was ok”
Nice enough staff, but pricey for what it was. Not bad. Not great.
“This hotel is now at the top of my list-comfortable, friendly, contemporary-Loved it!”
From the moment I walked up the steps to the front door and the very friendly doorman opened the door, till the moment I left for the airport, everything about my stay at the Iroqois was top notch. The staff was wecoming and helpful, I had a problem with my inroom telephone, and it was dealt with immediately, the staff in the restaurant was terrific, as was the food. The price was very affordable, the room is clean and comfortable, the bathroom is big, the linens and robes are Frette, the shower had water pressure... all those little things combined with the wonderful staff make it the hotel I will always stay in when in New York.
