“Flying Visit”

Only used when flying through Newark. Location is further than expected from the airport itself (taxi was $20) and the hotel has limited facilities areound it. Room standards were fine for a short stay.

“OK place, but very hard to find”

Both these things are true for all the airport hotels. They are all in a row across from the airport You would think being across the street from the airport would make this hotel easy to find--not. We drove around for 30 min trying to get to this hotel from the airport. Take a GPS and call to get instructions for how to get there from the hotel. .That's what we had to do. Do not take a room that faces the airport. It's like sleeping on the runway. Ask for a room at the back. The hotel was pretty clean and comfortable. Our room contained a sleep sofa, which is a plus for families traveling with kids. We did not try the sofa. The hotel serves breakfast but has no other food. You could probably walk to one of the other hotels for lunch or dinner.

“Not that great, but not horrible”

Hotel is not easy to find and is in need of some remodeling. The basics are there, but its lacking a modern feeling.

“Great hotel all around.”

Staff was extremely helpful. If you stay and want to order take out, call Tony's pizza, best pizza and tiramisu ever! Close to the airport and jersey gardens outlet mall, just don't eat at the Chili's. Hotel was clean and secure. Easy to find. Shuttle driver was on time and friendly.

“What I needed at the time!”

I wound up in this hotel due to the hurricane, for the night before a very early flight out of Newark. It was clean, relatively quiet and was really more room than a single person needed for a eight hour stay, as there was a living area, microwave, fridge, and extra sink. The proximity to the airport served me well, and the shuttle was prompt and friendly.

“NYC trip - alternative hotel to Manhattan”

Hotel was fine, only one thing: it is fare away from Manhattan. You need at least one hour to go there and pay also for train/bus/ per person or car/parking. Think about what is cheaper or better at the end compared to a hotel in Manhattan.
