“Ono”
if i have better choices, i would not to stay here. no luggage room is the main problem.
“Adequate but no frills”
A relatively new property with almost no amenities. Relatively close to subway (4 Blocks) into Manhattan. I've stayed here before and will stay here again. High costs in Manhattan drive me to stay in LIC.
“New York Long Island City Ramada”
We arrived late in the evening but the room was ready and check in went smoothly. This is a new facility so everything was clean and nice. At night the neighborhood did not seem like the greatest but in the morning you discover that it is in a commercial / industrial area and seems safe enough. No parking provided but I parked the rental car on the street nearby and had no issues (though be careful about street cleaning times). The subway stop was 3-4 blocks away and from there the next stop was Lexington Ave. For the price compared to a downtown hotel, I would say this hotel was great!
“Be very careful!”
Overall this was a fair experience. Grubby neighbourhood but OK, great for getting around New York via subway and generally nice staff. However, the breakfast area is tiny and you HAVE to take what there is to your room. What really grated was one particular young lady on the morning of 9 October 2011. I had agreed with the night staff to leave our cases behind the counter because we had spent nearly $1,000 on clothes. The young lady is question was difficult and EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. She wanted us to leave our cases in a totally open area and take zero responsibility. I have travelled around the world and this is the ONLY hotel who will not hold your luggage in a secure room. We had 12 hours to our flight and had to drag it around Times Square on our last day. SHABBY!
“Clean”
I recommend it
“Good for what we wanted”
Obviously being in NYC, we wouldn't be spending much time in the hotel so we didn't need a whole lot of creature comforts. Free wi-fi and a free breakfast were the two main things we took advantage of. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from a couple different subway stations. The surrounding neighbourhood may not look the best, but we had no problems whether walking around during the day or late at night. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the room was spacious enough with a large bed, fridge and cable tv. Would definitely stay again.
“bad experince”
it such the worst day in my life the hotel smell its like very bad and when i called them to check they told me it is clean the place was in unclean area and every thing was bad dot go to this place save your money even if you have to pay more for any hotle pay because when being in this hotle is like sleeping in the street
“Good view in questionable neighborhood”
I stayed on the 8th floor and this was very adequate. The location in a residential and business area did not fit. Once in the room I was transformed into another world. The view of Manhattan was fantastic from this level! Further from the subway than I had hoped. (4 city blocks)
“TERRIBLE”
TERRIBLE HOTEL. NEVER AGAIN. NOISY AND SMALL ROOMS. NOT POLITE HOTEL STUFF AND THEY ARE NOT FRIENDLY.. NEVER AGAIN
“Decent”
Extremely close to the Q and N train without the hustle and bustle of being in the city. Can be in the city within minutes. Quiet neighborhood. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. No airport shuttle service. No early check in.
