Deluxe Guest Rooms: Featuring 271 square feet of space, these accommodations offer a king sized bed dressed in fine linens, plush duvets and feather pillows. Rooms include a reading chair and table and a built-in wall unit featuring ample closet and oversized work space. Italian Marble bathrooms feature deep soaking tubs, lighted make up mirrors, luxurious bath amenities and terry-waffle bathrobes.

Premier Rooms: 360 square feet of living space with a king bed dressed in fine linens, plush duvets and feather pillows. Berkshire Suites:These 445-square-foot suites provide a separate living room setting with glass-paned French doors that separate parlor and work area from the king bedroom. “A very nice hotel”

The hotel is very accommodating. We were booked into an unsuitable room and they had us moved to a much larger room the next day. We planned a last minute birthday party for my daughter and the hotel provided excellent last minute service. The breakfasts are very good, the lobby attractive, the room comfortable and clean, what more can you want. Location. It's got that too. Near shopping museums, Central Park.

“Black Friday Weekend”

Shower did not have hot water on a couple of instances, though it was not cold. Perhaps the hotel was filled with NYC shoppers.

Area recommendations

The area of this hotel is ideal due to close shopping and Central Park.

When to go

I always enjoy the weekend after Thanksgiving. The Christmas lights are up. Shopping is not as crowded as you think and deals can be found.

“Great location”

We stay at the Omni everytime we go. Very clean and the beds are incredible. Can't beat the location. If you need a driver, tell the bellman you want Ronnie. He knows the best restaraunts.

“Wonderful stay!”

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was small but cozy. We missed having a coffee maker in our room. The location was great. We would definitely stay at the Omni Berkshire Place again!

“Can't wait to go back!”

This was our first stay at the Omni and we relied on Expedia's recommendations to help us find an affordable hotel in an excellent location to watch the Macey's Day Parade, eat at some fine restaurants and take in a couple of Broadway shows. After careful consideration, we chose the Omni. It was one block from the parade, very close to Broadway and Time Square and many fine restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was comfortable and clean with great service. We will return to the Omni!

Area recommendations

The teenagers loved Time Square during the evening. We felt it was safe for them to journey together. There are many police officers patrolling the streets. Walking the city is great excercise and the shopping is second to none! The best bargains can be found on the carts that line the city street corners. We observed many families enjoying the holidays!

Events and shows

While in NYC we saw the Jersey Boys. I would highly recommend seeing this show even if you weren't a teenager in the 60's/70's. We took two 19 year old boys and they loved it! We also show the Rockettes (Christmas show). This is a perfect family show (kids of all ages will love this). We booked our tickets on line before we left. Great performance!

“Most Satisfactory”

A great central location, queit too, just away from the hustle and buslte. Lovely well kept room and good facilities. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Area recommendations

We used the hotel as a base to explore many areas of the NYC. Central Park , 5th Avenue, Broadway and Time Square are an easy walk. There is ample subway lines to access downtown too.

“Close to many " must see " places.”

Close to St. Patricks, Tiffany's, Central Park, Rockfeller Center. Walking distance to Times Square, Magnolia Bakery, FAO. We never needed a cab! Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
