“you get what you pay for.”

I have stayed here a few times and mainly book for the location. It is close to the areas that I frequent. You can sometimes find parking fi you're lucky. Cheap price . Cheap Hotel. Economic.

“Good choice”

Nice hotel. Close to subway, Chinatown .

“Comfortable and Convenient”

It was very nice to have a full kitchen in NYC so we didn't spend an arm and a leg going out to eat every night. The hotel was an easy walk to Broadway and Wall St. Very convenient for s multiple night stay.

“Decent price, but not a great location.. Hotel needs some work”

This could be a really great and trendy hotel, but it desperately needs some upgrades and a paint job. It's a little off the beaten path, so prepare to walk to restaurants. Best place to find a taxi is on Christie Street.

“Excellent location but...”

Fridge was not cold enough, and there was no adjustment knob, so we made ice blocks in the freezer with zip lock bags and used the fridge like an old fashioned ice box. We asked concierge about taxi service in the area for 4 pm and were told there would be no problem, however between 4 and 6 pm is shift change and the drivers do no like to drive to LaGuardia, we had a hard time getting a taxi and missed a flight. Supermarkets Whole Foods (2 blocks walking) and Essex St Marketplace (2 blocks walking and take J train east) are close by. The Expedia booking indicated some of the rooms are "smoking allowed", but there are none. The kitchen cabinets were spacious and clean. No evidence of bed bugs. I felt safe in hotel, concierge was alert (this is Bowery area)

“Not impressed”

The elevator was out of order for several days and our room was blocked on the 6th floor, we had a ton of luggage. We were given another room instead on the second floor but it had twin beds and no air conditioning in the bedroom with 90+ temps in NYC. The AC in the living room did not work well and only after the second night was it finally switched to a working unit. Beds were not made up each day, Internet access was very weak. The refirgerator did not keep food cold and a lot spoiled. the pictures of the hotel on line were not reality. We were told that the hotel had gone through renovations only 6 months earlier, but bathroom grout was missing and or moldy, electrical outlets were few and in dangerous condition. The neighborhood was a concern after hours.

“Off Soho Suites”

The only problem we had was that the air conditioner worked on high cool always. But it did work well, we just turned it off when it became too cold. We did not make any reference of this to management, did not want to be a problem. This was very nice and clean. The hotel staff was excellent. I would recommend this to others.

“Good for long stays- bit far from the tourist hotspots”

Located in a shabby neighborhood, but clean and staff helpful. WIFi connection ok only in the common area, connection in the room feeble. Hotel's Limo service connection expensive. Better from Limo services center on next street down and at short notice too.

“Great spot”

Kind, helpful, friendly staff; nice, clean rooms. The staff were great and managed to let me and my dog check in a bit early. The hotel was pleasantly quiet, the neighborhood, while a bit seedy late at night, was a great spot, very close to Soho, Little Italy, Chinatown, and the east Village. I would definitely stay again!
