“Carol Andrews”
This is our second visit to this hotel. Great location, easy to walk to many stores, subway and Central Park. Would stay there again. Two cafes right by hotel, one open till 8pm, lots of choice of food, great pizza!
“Great Location”
The hotel was a brilliant location however this is known to locals as the Club Quarters hotel not the manhatten centre hotel so keep this in mind when asking for directions The reception area is small and abit manic at peak times which didnt cause any confusion for us but i think could of done if we were there at that busy period... Was alittle annoyed when we paid for late check out the cleaners were knocking on to attend to the room every 1/2 hour after 12midday. Lift is abit slow especailly when you are on the 17th floor. There is a bar right next door which is really good - beer abit expensive and also adds to the confusion with the small reception / entrance area etc etc. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help with anything we had to ask Thanks - would defo stay there again for the location alone!!!
“Overall good NY hotel”
Overall the best hotel, nice pull-out couch separate enough from bedroom and kitchenette. 2 TV's were great if you have children. One issue w/ cleanliness - we found an undergarment under the couch when we pulled it out - yuck. Otherwise bathroom etc seemed clean.
“Super location but avoid room 202”
Because we bought a special on Expedia, we could only get a room up to the 6th floor. The room was not ready before 16h30. Despite our request for a quiet room, we got room 202, above a pub's entrance... So it became particularly noisy from 2 am. Avoid also room beside the fitness facilities; you can hear the treadmills early in the morning. Hotel service varies, depending on the personnel. Gisele was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, considering that we were a family of four. The best thing about this hotel is its location (short walking distance to Time Square, Rockerfeller cen., St-Patrick Cathedral, 5th Ave, Central Park and more), the free internet access, the complimentary bottles of water, and the free access to the Club Quarters' terrace on Washington St for a view on the 9/11 Memorial - we couldn't get a better place.
“GOOD, GOOG, GOOD”
VERY CLEAN, GOOD SERVICE, GOOD NEIGHBORHOOD, LITTLE ROOM BUT COMFORTABLE
“Absolutely Fantastic!”
These lodgings were a bonus. The location is terrific especially for shopping. right across the street from Radio City. The restaurant was reasonable and the food delicious. Fridge and microwave too. I've now got their number!
“Would definitely go back!”
My husband and I stayed here 10/12 through 10/15, and were very happy with the hotel. We were placed in the sister building called "The Jewel" facing Rockefellar Center. The ammenities were plentiful, free wifi in room, access to computers in the "common area" as well as a printer. We had a microwave and fridge in the room which I wasn't expecting, pleasant surprise! (Also a coffemaker, but we enjoyed the flavored coffee in the common area every morning.) Check in and check out was a breeze, took seconds to do. Felt very safe and secure, location is by far the best, easy walking distance to Central Park, and only 4 blocks to Times Square, and 1 block from shopping on 5th Ave., if you want to catch the Today show in the morning there is no closer place to be, just walk out your front door and cross the street! If you want to feel like a New Yorker than this is the place to stay. Did I mention I loved the modern decorating, very hip. One more thing, highly recommend breakfast at EuropaCafe just a few doors down, very inexpensive, and of course do not miss a Cornhusker at the Heartland Brewrey just 1 block down, kitty corner to Radio City.
“Great hotel for first time visit to the city!!”
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was our first time in the city and found the location to be excellent. Within a few minutes your in Times Square, a few minutes the other way and your in Central Park. It was great. There is a grocery store on the same block and a cute cafe right next door.
“I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”
I like this hotel. Friendly, effecient customer service. Clean, well appointed room. Terrific location, centrally located, near Rockefeller center, Time Square, good restaurants, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
“40th Birthday Suprise”
