we really feel at home here great sevice, wife thinks Oscar is hot, superb location , very comfortalbe, bar has great ambience and service,Feinsteins was not cheap but great food,service and the show with michael and linda was superb need new bathroom doors and bed frames well worn should be no brainer to clean up yes we'll be back as long as price is right

The hotel was clean both inside and outside. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location very close to Central Park and within walking distance to Times Square and 5th avenue shops. Hotel staff were friendly. Room was excellent! Loved the apples that were always available by the elevators. Was there during Hurricane Irene and staff were very accomodating. Sunday buffet at the restaurant was overpriced and not very good.
“Extremely satisfied”
This was our first stay at this hotel and we were extremely satisfied. The hotel is conveniently located with easy walks to Central Park, Subways, restaurants, shopping and Times Square. The hotel staff was also wonderful. Without a doubt, the Lowe's Regency will be our first option on our next trip to New York.

“Too pricy for us....”
The Regency was a great deal with the Expedia package. However, everything else about it was way too expensive for our tastes--for example, $16.00 for internet access was way out of line when many hotels provide WiFi free. The restaurant was very expensive and I didn't like the fact that they left items out in the room for purchase at highly inflated prices--my daughter had the little candy box open within 2 minutes of arriving--it cost $35.00. The neighborhood was convenient, but, again, all of the eating places, etc. nearby were really expensive. A couple of years ago we chose a smaller lower rated hotel. It wasn't as fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and they had free WiFi and Continental Breakfast. Next time, I would go back there.
