“Very Nice!!”
Hotel was clean and very very nice. Would definately recommend it and go back again. Hope I will get the really great Expedia rate too!!
“Very familiyfriendly”
We stayed at the Parker from 7.-12.10.2011 and had booked a junior suite with our 10 Years old daugther. The junior suite was very convienent due to the seperate room with the couch and the dining table. Plenty of space for having breakfast and other small meals. Many delis and starbucks around the hotel made it easy for to get some food in no time. Our daughter loved at most the pool at the 42th floor. The receptionist Constanza was very friendly and arranged for us a suite in the 27th floor to the direction of 56th Street, which was good because there is actually a very noisy construction site on 57th. The nearby Central Park is as well a big asset of the hotel. The suite itself has plenty of space. The hotel bar is for our taste a little bit too dark.
“great nyc location”
we very much enjoyed the parker meridien except for the extremely loud construction going on next store that made the building rock at 7am on weekdays. this was so disturbing that I could even hear the jackhammering in the bathroom on the 18th floor. So go to the meridien after the construction is done next door!
“perfect”
perfect location but room was too small
“Excellent service but relaxed atmosphere”
This is high quality hotel with nice, helpful, attentive staff and a great location. The Parker Meridien is a top NYC hotel without the stuffy, formal ambiance of other 4 and 5 star hotels. Pay the extra for a parkview room - the view from a high floor is absolutely beautfiul. I've stayed here over 20 times in the past 5 years and the Parker Meridien is consistently good.
“Le Parker Meredian”
We had a great time and thought the hotel was great. It is in an excellent location not far from Central Park, shopping, Time Square, Broadway, the subway, etc.... Dining at hotel is good as well.
“First Class Hotel”
Great view of Central Park from the room window, but you need to be on the upper floors. Located just off 7th Ave a short walk from Times Square. Only disappointment was the building work down the Street at Carnegie Hall which will be finished soon.
“sadly very disappointed”
We booked Le Parker for a 5 night stay to coincide with our Central Park wedding. Upon arrival we were greeted with the deafening sound from neighbouring building works, which filled the lobby and lower floors. After finally making ourselves heard over the noise we made our way to our room, to be greeted by thick dust on the shelves and mini bar, scratched and scuffed toilet seat and, a general stuffy and stale odour. after a complaint to reception we were able to change rooms. (The hotel was aware of our wedding plans and put strawberries and fizzy water in both our rooms as a welcome gift.) Admittedly a letter outlining the building/noise disruption was placed in the rooms. Our stay coincided with hurricane Irene and, this is where we felt really let down by the hotel staff. Small notices were posted around the hotel by the lifts and public spaces advising guests to stay indoors. Fine if complimentary refreshments/ newspapers were supplied but, we were kindly informed that all the hotel food/drink/bar facilities were open! On our wedding day champagne was purchased through the hotel as a gift for us and, was meant to be delivered to our room for us to enjoy. we did enjoy it after several phone calls to the front desk and a delay of 2hrs to deliver it to us and we had to drink it in the lobby after the hotels bar refused o let us drink it there as it was not purchased from the bar, even though it was on the hotels room service menu! Great location... poor attitude
“Needs Updating!”
I have stayed here many times but have not been here for about 3 years, I feel it needs updating. Over the last few years I have stayed mid town, meat packing etc.much more modern and updated hotels.I came here this time for the pool on the roof which is needed in the summer and the location - the room was tired - windows filthy - old TV sets, no HD - front desk check in not very friendly. - pool staff, bell staff and door staff were great. I most recently stayed in Las Vegas at the Encore where everything was amazing so I think I have been spoiled!
“Great Hotel, Amazing Location”
Really enjoyed leparker hotel, great room with view on central park, the location was amazing (2 blocks away from central park, 20mn from times square, 5mn to lots of subway stations) staff was really friendly and helpful with booking restaurants. Talking of which, Norma's and the burger joint located at the hotel are both great places to eat!
