“Pretty good airport hotel”

Clean & conveniently located. Enjoyed continental breakfast, free NY Times, and shuttle to airport. No business room/printer but able to print boarding passes on dedicated computer.

The only plus is the proximity to LGA airport and a complimentary pickup/drop to LGA. The pickup takes a long time to arrive though and in this weather you need to be careful with that.

“Convenient when needed”

Bumped by delays from booked carrier to alternate airline made overnight necessary. Hotel was close and convenient, with shuttle service on time. Room was very satisfactory for my limited stay.

“Comfortable hotel for the price.”

The only problem we had with the service was the length of time we had to wait in the blowing snow for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport.

Area recommendations
I think this location in E Elmhurst, N.Y. was fine. Close to LGA

“Satisfied”

We booked this hotel because of the proximity to the airport but were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and accommodating it was. The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay relaxed and easy. Nothing was a problem for them. The continental breakfast was one of the freshest and tastiest we experienced during our stay in the United States. Although we didn't venture out at night, we did not feel threatened or uncomfortable during a daytime walk. The absence of restaurants or eateries in the surrounding areas left us to eat at the hotel however we were once again satisfied with the food available on the menu. We have and would definitely recommend the hotel to others for a stay- over between flights.

Area recommendations
Having only experienced 2, 1 night stopovers at the Hotel I do not feel I have enough local knowledge to recommend the area for a longer stay. When in New York we stayed in Brooklyn and had no problems whatsoever, however the area would definitely not be to everybody's liking. I would say, research the attractions and sights you wish to visit and depending on your finances chose a hotel to suit.
