“Hard to find at JFK”

The hotel was extremely difficult for the taxi driver to find, even though we supplied the correct street address; it was located in a dodgy residential area, and not at all close to the other airport hotels. The room itself was ok, but I would not go back.

“Not so convenient location with not so nice neighborhood and very noisy room”

Stayed for a night to catch my early morning flight. Had to wait for the shuttle for almost 45 minutes to pick me up from the airport. The shuttle service is EVERY HOUR. The room is by the highway and very noisy. It was almost impossible to sleep. On the positive side, the room was clean, the bed and big and the room was in good condition in general. I would not stay again at this hotel.

It is what you would expect- not too nice and not too bad. They put me on ground floor just around corner from the main desk. It was midnight so too tired to argue. I'd asked for a quiet room away from street. However at that hour there was still a lot of noise from women in lobby, getting ice, etc. Seemed liek they were friends of the desk clerk. Room was clean enough and not totally run down. When I arrived at JFK and called for shuttle was told I had to go to Federal Circle on the light rail and that it would be 20 minute wait. Not in their website advert on Expedia! Thankfully was there within ten minutes of arriving. Then next morning was up at 4:30AM for flight and driver was hanging around but not drivign until 5am. Probably regs but good for others to know. Overall, fine for early flight but no other reason to choose this one.

“Solid stay for the area”

Expedia stated that they have continental breakfast, but they don't. Other than that, I have no complaints.

“Convenient shuttle to nice, comfortable hotel”

Shuttle service to and from JFK was invaluable...fast, convenient and on time! rooms were nicely decorated, nice continental breakfast...could have been a l ittle cleaner, but overall, good!

“Ok - served it's purpose”

Basic hotel. Just stayed 1 night b/c I had a long layover in NY. Room was clean. Although the bathroom smelled like wet rag and there were a couple of small roaches (typical for NYC ?). The fridge didn't work. Didn't try the microwave. I was on the first floor so I could hear people walking by on the street and the cars driving by. I could hear people in the hall as well. The hotel is a 5 min drive to JFK, so that was great. The staff was helpful and nice. Free shuttle and wifi.

very near jfk airport, only 3 minutes clean a little elevator problems with the luggage the shuttle driver very angry

“good hotel in bad neighborhood”

Its a very good hotel if you had to stay 1 night near the airport. Its very far from downtown There s nothing to do at night. Dont think to walk around at night, its dangerous The best : breakfast its great!!

“Good for overnight stay before JFK departure”

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Quinta for a night before taking an early morning flight out of JFK. Overall the hotel staff was very nice and our check in was efficient. The room was clean and nice and had a small fridge and microwave. My only complaints would be that the neighborhood was a bit sketchy, we didnt leave at all. While I didn't feel "unsafe" staying there, I certainly wouldnt go wandering around at all. Also, the hotel is on a main road and the entrance to park your car is barely visible and incredibly narrow. We had to go around the building a few times before figuring it out. Also the lot to park in is literally like 6 spaces and also incredibly narrow. Luckily we were just being dropped off, but the lot is very inconvenient. There is a free airport shuttle on the hour which was nice also. Overall I would recommend it for accessibility to the airport, but not if youre trying to visit NYC.
