“PENNSYLVANIA DUMP”
The hotel was unclean, there was damp on the walls, the paper was coming away, there were water marks down the wall, the room had no wardrobe to hang clothes, the window would not shut, the room /hotel looked liked a mental institution,it was horrible. I checked out after 10 mins and moved to a different hotel, I paid a further anount, thankfully, Experdia refunded the monies and I had to pay only a small amonut extra, I would have paid any amount not to stay ay the Pennsylvannia!! My advice..... STAY AWAY.
“Amazing location!!”
Hotel Pennsylvania was in amazing location. When you go out the front doors, the first thing you see is Madison Square Gardens and its a block away from the Empire State. Although the rooms in the Hotel are slightly run down, it doesn't affect the holiday one bit. If your out all day you wouldn't even notice. The rooms were cleaned every day and beds made and the cleaners and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would definantly return to this hotel!
“Would Stay Again”
This hotel generally has bad press and bad ratings. We stayed here for ten nights and did not find a problem. Yes it is a little dated but you don't go to NYC to sit and stare at the four walls in your hotel room all day! Excellent location for Subway, food, Times Square, MSG and more.
“step up from a hostel with hostile staff”
The hotel caters to groups of visiting tourists of various countries. Their is no air conditioning (hotel suggested I open the window) and the rooms are small, dingy and haven't been maintained in years. The amount of rust, mold and stained carpet in such a small room was rather revolting. Will gladly pay more money to a better hotel next time. Water pressure was good
“Great”
Great
“awful hotel in NYC”
my room was very dirty with a terrible smell. i won't go back to that hotel even though someone will offer me a room for free.
“horid horid horid good thing was location bedding and towels very clean forget the rest !”
pay an extra few quid for quality this was the pitts new yorks worst
“Hotel Pennsylvania”
This is a very busy and old hotel, classic NYC. Great location but there is no AC and the bathroom was not very clean. The staff tries hard to accommodate its guests but there is only so much you can do with a facility that is this old.
“Low Quality room and service”
too expensive for what you get.
“would expect a more decent room for the price”
rooms need complete renovation not even internet services are provided at room
