Ok hotel close to times square.

Posted 29-Oct-2014
The hotel is a little run down and not pleasant to look at. The rooms are comfy although lacking with amenities. If all you are looking for is a bed and bathroom it is perfect and very close to times square, theatres and the subway.

Great location...one block from Times Square.

Posted 29-Oct-2014
Pros: Great location and staff.
Cons: Remodel the hotel.
Location: Perfect location for Times Square.
The bathroom was clean but the room had a musty smell. There were reading glasses and candy wrappers under the bedside table left from previous guest. No lamp in room at all. The hotel is dated and needs to be updated. The staff was fabulous.

Good for the price.

Pros: Location, location, location.... And low price too!
Cons: alarm clock in room
Location: Broadway Shows & Times Square
The hotel was as expected. Excellent location, clean, but very basic. I felt it was a great value, just a place to crash.

Basic hotel, good location

Would not choose this hotel again. The location is in prime area but hotel is not nice at all. Changed room three times, 1st room the door was broken, 2nd room there was mould All over bathroom walls it was disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone. Quite surprised it's advertised on Expedia as I've always trusted booking through this website and I'd rethink it next time now.

In the middle of everything

Posted 25-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: The carpets could stand to be updated
Location: It's in Times Square...enough said!
This is not a perfect hotel by any means, but it's cheap (by New York standards) and right in the center of it all. The room is old, the carpet has seen better days, but the beds were really comfortable- I slept better than I had in weeks! If you're spending lots of time in your room, why are you in New York City? This isn't the Ritz, but it's a decent value for your money. If they did all the renovations that the place calls for, it would be as expensive as all the swanky hotels...

Money wise, you will not find a cheaper hotel in manhattan that is located 2 minutes from Times Square. Yes it's true the rooms are not that comfortable and the staff is pretty bad, but to me it doesn't really matter. I've been there twice already and I will be back there again next time I'm in NYC.

very convenient to Times Square.

Posted 23-Oct-2014
Pros: very convenient to TImes Square and Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Cons: Housekeeping.
Housekeeping department needs to pay attention to things such as plastic cups in the bathroom(to rinse your mouth, etc.). FInally received some after the second night of our stay. Also forgot to leave clean wash cloths. I had to go downstairs to the registration desk to as for some(twice!). They also don't have bath mats for the bathroom floor. Towels need to be replaced or upgraded- pretty thin. There was a very nice deli downstairs on the side of the hotel entrance/exit. excellent for breakfast!

Pros: nothing
Cons: It has to be gutted and rebuilt
Horrible experience...honestly...I can't even begin. If you can't afford, stay at a YMCA
