Great location, but...

Posted 27-Nov-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything, very tired
Location: Time square and theaters
Great location , but do not expect much of this very old and tired hotel, rooms was only cleaned and bed made when requested, not tag to leave out to ask to have room made up. Advised by cleaner that rooms are leaned on alternative days. Beds were like rocks, had to ask to have heating turned aup and televeison kept turning it's volume up and down without assistance.

horrible facilities perfect location

Posted 25-Nov-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleaner
If you want to be in times square and pay a low price stay here knwoing that the hotel is a bit dirty and kind of stuck in time. The location is great for food, subway, theater and everything you want. I honestly think is worth it because of the location. Just know that its no that nice.

Cheap and old with a great location

Posted 25-Nov-2014
We knew what we were in for. We needed affordable, and it is that, with exactly the location we wanted. Those are pretty much the only pluses. The things that are supposed to function do - and when we were missing a remote they had us a new one within an hour. There are definitely no "extras." We had a small room with broken furniture and an old spring bed. The bathroom is with ancient fixtures and teeny. They cleaned our room every other day. The lobby was connected to the gentleman's club next door somehow, and smelled of smoke. The staff were very nice. We stayed for a week, and were barely there however. If you want the Times Square/Theatre district, this is exactly the location you want. It's a shame they couldn't update some features, but if we are in the financial situation we were, we would still consider staying there. We would just hope to be in a better financial situation.

Intolerable

Posted 24-Nov-2014
Our hotel room was very dirty, it was disgusting. we arrived late at night so we couldn't switch the hotel the same night. We luckily could get another hotel for the rest of our stay. We couldn't tolerate the room condition. It was a nightmare! The staff was the only thing that was okay!

Super convenient to Times Square, Broadway

Posted 22-Nov-2014
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Hotel is old, but to modernize would drive price out of my range. Keep it clean (it is).
Served my purpose well. Well priced for mid-town. 24-hour deli inside the building.

Pros: The Location, very near from all Times Square shows, stores, restaurants, etc...
Cons: The Cleaniness
Location: Shops, Shows, Food, Metro, all you can imagine....
The Hotel is 2 category, but for the price and the excelent location in Times Square is fine... :)
