“Great location”

The hotel is older, the rooms were small but adequate. It was well managed and very clean. We would stay there again. It was within walking distance of many of the sights we wanted to take in, and a variety of restaurants were nearby.

“Nice place”

A bit pricey, but we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The location of the hotel was the best for things we like to do when we're in the city. Fairly convenient to the trains, too. We'll definitely stay there again if they have a rate we like.

“I would come back”

the hotel staff were wonderful, they were very accommodating and i couldn't ask for better service. i was a little iffy on the parking, but it wont kill me :) but fair warning its a small room, so if you booked it for two don't plan on having a hotel party, its pretty cramped, but overall, i loved the hotel and would return for any holiday event. :)

“Cute & Central”

The hotel 373 on 5th Ave is cute but small, with a tiny lobby, however the room, which was also small like many hotel rooms in NY, had everything we needed. Staff was very nice. Starbucks is right next door for breakfast. The location is great, a couple blocks away from subway and the train station LIRR to Jamaica Station and the Air Train to JFK. Even the sightseeing tour buses stop just a block away next to the Empire State Building. Close to many shops big and small. A great location in Midtown NY!

Area recommendations

For dinner try NOHO, SOHO, NOLITA, Little Italy and Greenwich village. Just leave the main road and dive into the neighborhoods. We always found a cute little place and every time the food was fab! For visiting ground zero you need to register online and it could be that there are no openings when you plan to go, so make reservations early. Expect long waiting time for the Empire State building, it took us at least 1hr to get to the top.

“wonderful”

hotel 373 was perfect for our stay in new york, right on 5th avenue in midtown, 2 minutes walk from the empire state building and central for exploring everywhere....5 minutes walk from maceys and 15 minutes from times square and broadway....the service and room where all fantastic (we had a queen double) the staff were more than helpful and the room was spotless....we would highly recommend and if....no sorry when we go back to this fine city we shall stay there again.

Area recommendations

buy some hop on hop off bus tour tickets before you go....this will save you quite a bit on taxi fares and the tour guides are really informative....we recommend the night tour as the city is even more impressive after dark....dont venture to greenwich village before midday as nothing is open. all areas of this diverse city are worth a visit and will definatly take more time than you have.

“GREAT LOCATION BUT TINY ROOM”

hotel set in great location within 10 min walk of time square, 2 min to empire state bldg, 5 min to macys. although in great location l would have to say it is one of the smallest hotel rooms l have visited barely large enough to swing a cat around in and only a double bed (not queen/king) bed was only accessible by one side as air conditiner protruded into the room. There was bottled water provided daily and the room was cleaned well

“Very pleasing hotel!”

373 is a good choice for a stay in Manhattan. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. I am sure if I had needed any further assiatance they would have been very helpful in their response. The hotel is situated reasonably close to to Subway 6 on West 33rd Street and various others on West 34th Street. I might have preferred a small fridge in the room and some people may prefer a closet or similar to hang clothes. The rooms are on the small size but acceptable. The lift functioned for the five days of my our stay. I would certainly consider a future stay...

So much to see and do but try Greenwich Village.
