“Nice and clean”

Very neat and cozy, and convenience location. Only bad impression was the hotel clerk who called our taxi to the airport. He didn't tell us about the fee. On the way from the airport, it costed $10.00, and going back to the airport with the car which the hotel clerk called costed $25!!!??? better to be careful....?!!

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. Clean, good service, in-house restaurant not very good but a handy deli across the street. Would stay there again and convenient to Manhattan.

This is a clean hotel in Queens. No restaurants nearby, but easily accessible by Public transportation, just minutes from Manhattan by car/cab.

This is a new hotel, very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Could be in a better neighbourhood but very close to the subway and local dining within 3 blocks. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

For us the location of Long Island City is not good. The area was very difficult to locate. the hotl itself was fine. Not haveing a parking space wa not good but the main problem was the location.

“Great home base for a Manhattan visit”

Although the neighborhood of the hotel is quiet and somewhat out of the way, the N/Q subway line is just a block and a half away, which means you can be at 59th and Lexington in 10 minutes or less.The room was small but clean, and the staff was very friendly. This is a brand new hotel; the in-house bar and restaurant is no competition for what can be found in Manhattan, but it is decent and a good place to pick up breakfast on your way out for the day. A real deal compared to Manhattan rates.

“Not for familes”

The hotel was in excellent condition and the staff was very friendly, but we were on a family vacation with our 7 and 11 year old sons and this is not the hotel to stay in with a family. The hotel is only a block from the subway station, so we never had to walk far, but the surrounding neighborhood wasn't the best. We never felt as though we were in danger, but it was moderately run down and I wasn't completely comfortable walking with my young children - even in daylight. The hotel pool is only open from 5:00 PM through 10:00 PM, which wasn't terribly convenient - we chose the hotel in part because of the pool and we were only able to use it once in four days. In was VERY hot in New York when we visited and the A/C in the room didn't come close to keeping the room cool. On the positive side, the restaurant is very good, the staff was very professional and the hotel was very clean.

“Highly recommended”

Would recommend this as an excellent lower cost hotel close to NYC. The only thing that could improve the experience is for the room to have a small bar fridge. Close to city and Metro station in a safe area. Would stay there again no problems!
