“What a fantastic hotel !!”
I couldn't fault this hotel at all and would definately recommend it to all. Centrally located, just 5 mins away from times square it was extremely clean and well kept. Our room was lovely and very spacious with a very comfortable and very spacious kingsize bed. The linen was crisp and just like new. My request for a room on the higher floor was met with a great front view. I was a little worried about noise intially especailly with a fire station being one block away but to be honest after a full day of being out and about sight seeing, we were too tired to notice anything. The nutrogena toiletries were also nice to use and were replaced daily. The concerige lady was very helpful and you could book various tickets from the hotel, even broadway shows. However we got half price Mama Mia tickets from the discount booth in times square costing 65 dollars each for excellent seats, regular price being 110 doll. You do need to que for approx 1-2 hours though but worth it in the end. We had a lovely first visit to New York and cannot wait to return and will defineatly stay at this hotel again. Only bad side was the weather as it rained very heavily for 2-3days of our weeks visit and was cold and windy in general. So go prepared and take a coat and brolly if going in March . Also go when the exchange rate is better as it can work out to be pretty expensive otherwise as I found out. I cannot wait to return to New York, it was a FANTASTIC holiday with brillant accomadation
“Perfect base for Broadway”
The Hilton Garden Inn Times Square is very conveniently located one block from Broadway and only a couple of blocks from Times Square. The hotel itself is clean and friendly with large rooms and VERY comfortable beds (we stayed in a "King" room and the bed was so comforablte we wanted to bring it home!). The French influenced Pigalle restaurant is good, but very busy. All in all, an enjoyable place to stay.
“Excellent location, would stay at hotel again.”
This was our first trip to New York (2 couples) and we could not have choosen a better situated hotel. It is just round the corner from Times Square, shops and Broadway. We had the basic rooms with 1 Queen size bed.The rooms were a comfortable size with air conditioning, flat screen tv. tea & coffee facilities, micro wave and safe.We had a shower in our bathroom and our friends had a bath so if its important to have either it may be worth specifying when booking. There is a bar & restaurant in the hotel which serves excellent breakfast and other meals throughout the day and evening. You can also book shows & restaurants from the hotel.
“Lovely hotel, Great loacation, easy access to everything in NYC”
Hotel was very good, staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a room that looked out onto a brick wall so it would be worth asking for a room with a view! Bit of a noise as we were next to the lift shafts but not a problem, we only had bed so went out for breakfast, this is NOT a problem in NYC. Would stay there again
“PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 out of 10”
absolutely perfect in EVERY single way!
“would definately recommend this hotel”
the rooms in the hotel are such a good size for new york.with the comfiest bed ive ever slept on.perfect for relaxing after walking all day. the rooms were cleaned everyday. we had a problem with on of our windows and an engineer was sent up within a minute to fix it. the hotel staff were so friendly and the location was so good just a block from times square. i would definately recommend.
“Great location - you won't be disappointed”
This is a very nice hotel. Welcoming staff and really pleasant comfortable rooms. I've stayed in the Sofitel and Affinia Dumont on previous trips and the Hilton Garden Inn certainly didn't disappoint in comparison. The beds are comfortable - rooms are spacious (bigger than the Sofitel room we had - and it was quiet at night.
“Good location, most enjoyable stay”
On arrival at the hotel, check in was quick and efficient. Our room was clean and eveything in good working order. Good size room with good shower and large comfortable bed, all you need when you are staying in New York with the added bonus of a fridge and coffee machine! Complimentary coffee in the morning was great as was the free use of the business centre. Great service with being able to leave our bags after we had checked out and the bell staff even got our cab to the airport. Only minor negative was we had a room on the 4th floor which had a small amount of noise from the subway and may have kept a light sleeper awake. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this hotel, great location, facilities and service.
“looking forward to my next trip”
myself and four friends spent a week in new york,we could not find fault with the hotel at all,the staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean, the beds were so comfortable that even the noise of new york could not keep us awake, the 24 hour shop in the lobby was great for a drink and snack, you were greeted with a friendly smile every day and it was central for all the sights, i can't wait to go back and i would stay in this hotel.
“Best New York City Hotel”
Our 3rd time in New York and having stayed at the Roosevelt and the Radisson i would have to say this hotel top's them both. Location is fantastic, room's have wonderful amenities. The bus tour's of the city are straight outside the hotel's and subway's are not far. I wish i was still there!
