“Clean and our go to everytime”

Our son is in LawSchool in NY and lives on Fulton, a few blocks from The Gild Hotel. We always stay there when we are in NY visiting him. Clean, good service and very comfortable. Away from the noisey hustle, so getting a good nights sleep is always a plus.

Ground Zero. Must have reservations, so go online to 9/11 memorial.org and reserve your free tickets., very, very well done

“Great boutique hotel near Wall Street”

Gild Hall is great - it's not like the huge faceless corporate hotels dotted around NYC, the staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are really good and it's got a great feel to it.

“Good as usual”

I stay here on a regular basis due to it's close proximity to our office. The hotel is well presented, clean and staff are helpful and friendly. I had an issue with the aircon unit but it was resolved quickly and I was offered another room if I wanted while it was being fixed.

“Very nice hotel, but, front desk not friendly or accommodating.”

The hotel is nice, the rooms are reasonably priced in great location. Bellman very friendly. Unfortunately, had three occasions to communicate with front desk - all three times were unfriendly experiences. They didn't want to be bothered, which is too bad, because the Hotel could have been a perfect experience otherwise.

“GILD HALL IS NOT GREAT.”

STAYED AT GILD HALL DURING JULY 4TH WEEKEND. THE HOTEL IS LOCATED BEHIND THE FED RESERVE ABOUT 3 BLOCKS FROM WALL ST. THE HOTEL IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - IN THE LITTLE TIGHT STREETS BEHIND FED RESERVE. WE RECEIVED A COMPLEMENTARY UPGRADE TO A LARGER ROOM - THE ROOM WAS REALLY SMALL. I WOULD NOT WANT TO SEE WHAT A STANDARD ROOM WOULD LOOK LIKE. DURING THE WEEKEND THE HOTEL BAR TURNS INTO A HIP HOP DISCO. THE MUSIC IS INCREDIBLY LOUD - CROWD IS GANGSTER HIP HOP TYPES. WE WERE ON A HIGH FLOOR AND COULD HEAR MUSIC UP IN OUR ROOM. IF I WERE ON A LOWER FLOOR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP. HOTEL IS NOT THAT GREAT. STAFF IS NICE. ONE HOTEL THAT I WOULD AVOID UNLESS YOU ARE WORKING DOWN ON WALL STREET AND WANT TO WALK OUT OF YOUR ROOM AND ONTO WALL STREET. SO MANY NICER HOTELS IN NYC.

“Gorgeous HOTEL, NOT SO Gorgeous of a view”

The hotel itself was outstanding!!! I only have 2 complaints. . . FiRST off the view from the room was bad all I could see was the parking garage across the street. Second the minibar and the snack didn't have a note letting you know the cost of the items. . . I felt as though that was their way of getting extra money w/o you really knowing. But nevertheless I definitely WILL stay in this hotel again and recommend it to friends!! The setup is amazing and the bed was like heaven!!!!
