“Excellent Location”
This hotel was in a great location and we had a room overlooking times square and the clock tower. The room was always kept clean and the king size bed was really comfortable. Our 2 boys slept on the double sofabed in the separate lounge. They said the mattress was too hard. Had 2 TVs which was great and a small sink and bar fridge. The warm chocolate chip cookies through out our stay were excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
“Excellent hotel in New York”
If you don't mind the bustling crowds outside of the hotel doors, then this hotel is perfect. Each room is actually a small suite consisting of a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The views are amazing. TIP: DON'T pay extra for a Times Square view room as these rooms are SMALLER than the normal rooms. We got a 'normal' king size room and it still had great views of Times Square! The staff here are very friendly. There is free wi-fi but only in the lobby, in the rooms you need to pay. For breakfast don't eat in the hotel, instead turn directly right outside of the hotel and go down the adajcent street to 'Evergreen Diner' to eat in a typical American diner full of locals grabbing food on their way to work.
“Great Location and fantastic value!”
OK, so this hotel wasn't PERFECT, but you can't compare a hotel in NYC to a paradise beach getaway. For what it was, this hotel was really, really good quality. Plenty of space with a bedroom and separate lounge, fantastic location in the heart of Times Square. Our bed was huge and comfortable with loads of pillows. The value for money was great in my opinion, considering the price I paid and the room we ended up with. I had heard many horror stories about tiny rooms in NYC but this was not the case. Service was fine, only complaint was a very rude and abrupt man when we were storing our bags upon checkout (whilst waiting for our car). Loved the warm cookies they give you on check in! I would recommend as a perfect base from which to explore the city.
“connollyf1”
I chose this hotel based upon the fact we could get a room which would sleep 2 Adults and our 3 Children. If I was honest I would not have booked this hotel if it was just me and my wife based on external visual of the hotel... Never judge a book by it's cover. from the street level you take the elevator to the 3rd floor reseption which is beautifull. we were then wisked up by extremley effficiant and quick elevator to our room which was absoulutley fantastic. Tastefully decorated with great amenities. My Wife was very impressed with the Crabtree Evelyn Toiletries. This was a great Hotel if you are visiting New York. You are situated in the heart of time square and 5th Av shopping is a easy 10 min walk. You can also pick up the bus tour straight across the street. Fantastic Hotel and New York never dissapoints
“Good times on the square”
Excellent hotel...but undergoing changes by new management. Hopefully it keeps up its experience with these new managers!

“This is the the place to stay !!!!!!”
This was mine and my wife's second stay in the city. I stayed here for 1 reason and 1 reason only..... The reviews. And let me tell you, I can't find 1 Negative thing to say about this place!!! Yes, you are in the heart of times square , yes you are a few blocks from all the shows, yes , there are great restraunts super close. The rooms are very spacious. We had a king size bed, super comfy mattress and pillows. Huge tv, big bathroom. Even though it's CRAZY busy out in the street it's quiet as can be inside. The door men are polite( must show your room key after 8 pm). The maids Always greet you and very polite. Oh, and the chocolate chip cookies at check in are scrumptious. Listen, if you have never been to new York and are touristing like we were this stay made everything perfect. We had the breakfast plan , and what a great buffet , cooked to order waffles, omlettes, and great servers every day. We stayed at the plaza last year, and yes it was very nice. But the walk back after the shows is longer . Don't let the price or the name fool you.
“Decent rooms for it's location”
You have to want the congestion of times square to stay here. Overall it's a nice hotel and rooms are moderately sized for it's location. I would advise against staying in any of the 01 rooms. We were in 3501 and had to deal with elevator noises among the regular city noises.
“Bucket List Christmas Trip to the Big Apple”
The bellman were awesome. They always found us a cab in a prompt manner. They made sure we knew where we were going. Their directions were always given with a smile even when they had to repeat themselves. The hotel suite was great. We had 5 ladies in the room and never felt cramped. The bathroom was large enough to allow two people at a time to get ready and and outside mirror/sink/counter made it easier for the rest to shift around. It is located in the heart of the Time Square and within walking of 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Macy's, and other sights.
“Can't wait to go back”
Perfect location in the middle of everywhere
