Whistle stop tour of NYC

Posted 24-May-2015
Pros: Location! Perfect for exploring on foot!
Cons: Bathroom decoration and cleanliness. Not terrible, but not to the standard of a hotel of this class.
Location: Loads of restaurants and bars on your doorstep and of course, you're on Braodway!
Crowne Plaza Rimes square was lovely, as were the staff. Our twin room overlooked back of hotel,so, while you missed out on a Tines Sq view, it was quiet at night! Very comfy beds. Just a slightly tired/shabby bathroom. Dirty fan vents, side of bath a little grubby and poor redecoration. Great shower though!

The faucet in the shower was problematic and was almost off the wall. No early check in but check out pronto at 11 Plus long line at check in. The best service came from the guys at left luggage who were accommodative as possible. Overall it wasnt terrible but it wasnt fabulous either

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel

Posted 20-May-2015
Pros: Lage

Very nice hotel at the heart of Times Square

Posted 20-May-2015
Pros: the location, helpful staffs, comfortable rooms
Cons: Free refrigerators in the room would be nice. Don't allow the tour bus sales people to wait around in front of your main door.
Location: Times Square, Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, Macy's, Broadway theaters, etc
We really enjoyed our stay here. Check in was very fast. And staffs were friendly and helpful. We experienced a problem with our toilet during our stay, but it was attended to quickly. Our room had two very comfortable and good-sized double beds. The sheets were soft. Air conditioner worked fine. We had no view, but no problem at all for us. The windows and the blinds blocked the noisy Times Square noises. We have good sleeps everyday of our stay. Also, the room always smelled really good. This hotel was in excellent location (if you are a tourist and want to stay right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle). It's only a few blocks away from the Empire State Building, Top of The Rock, the biggest Macy's department store in the world, M&Ms store, the Hershey store, Broadway theaters, and all the glamour in Times Square. It's not a very relaxing location. But a good and strategic place if you're only there for a few days. Two things that we found off-putting: 1) there was no refrigerator in the room. we need to pay extra to rent out. I find this ridiculous and i haven't found anything like this in any other hotels i've stayed in. We had planned to buy milk and cereals for our breakfast, but we couldn't do it because we were afraid of spoiling the milk. 2) every time we walk out the main door, there are sales people from the tour buses waiting. they'd shoved their brochures at us. we found this a bit overwhelming. But overall, this was a really nice hotel!

Fantastic Location!

Posted 19-May-2015
Pros: Location
Right in the heart of Times Square and the theatre district. Easy access to all the subway lines and Broadway shows. The bar has great appetizers at a reasonable price. The rooms are amble and don't feel cramped at all. We were on the 21st floor facing Times Square and the noise was minimal!
