“Very Convenient”

This is an excellent hotel with courteous staff that go out of there way to help. I have stayed here 3 times now and i will continue to stay here again. The location is right across the road from Jersey Garden Mall and the hotel shuttle bus picks you up from P4 and takes you to the hotel. There is also a shuttle bus from the hotel every 30 mins that takes you to the mall and back up until 10pm. There are 2 restaurants in walking distance and the mall has a large food court. I end the night in the jacuzzi after a hard days shopping. New York is only 30 mins away and a bus leaves from the mall every hour at the cost of $5.99 one way, same to return with last bus leaving New York at 12.30pm. Definately reccommend this hotel.

Area recommendations

I would reccommend going to New York to see Times Square which lights up and New York is known as the city that never sleeps. The Twin Towers are also coming along quite well. The Statue of Liberty is currently having renovations and is not accessible.

When to go

Last week in November for Thanksgiving, Also Black Friday where shops open at midnight and sell everything half price or more.

“Convenient location, Outlet Mall just across”

Nice clean hotel, conveniently located across a good Outlet Mall, complementary shuttle bus to Neward Airport and train station, helpfull staff, complementary coffee and tea at main lobby, internet. We were very satisfied with our stay and recommend this hotel.

“Front Desk Service Needs Work”

Nice hotel, convenient location to nearby mall and airport. Don't ask the front desk staff for anything, they will make you all kinds of promises but they won't follow through. The security of the facility needs work, many outsiders are sneaking in the side doors of the hotel and using the indoor pool. Also, if you are a pizza delivery person (or posing to be one), you can walk right in without having to check with the front desk staffers. Guests will eventually be subjected to a robbery.

“RMB Courtyard Marriott Review”

- Corridor smells like cleaning agent (chlorine). - From inside the room, you can hear the housekeeping crew chatting along the corridor. - Pool water is dirty. - Would be better if they have movie-on-demand to make better use of their big LCD TVs.

This hotel met our needs. It was convenient to Penn. Station Newark. The Jersey Garden Mall being next door was also enticing. We will stay here again.

“nice and comfortable”

We used hotel as an overnight stay...with kids. KIds enjoyed pool and checking out hotel. Parking and room were convenient. We were able to have pizza delivered to the hotel (since it was in a down pour outside). My only problem was being awakened at 3 and then 4 am by kids in another room above us, I believe. Can hear thru walls somewhat and can hear planes overhead (as hotel is close to airport) but the planes stopped after 10pm (I believe, for us). The room was clean and the beds very comfortable, nice hot shower, room looked like it was updated....things looked somewhat new. Overall...would definitely stay here again, if needed.

Area recommendations

We were staying in Newark but needed to be in Secaucus for an event in the am. Was to be only about 20 minutes away...but I think it actually took us closer to 30 and our travel time was between 6 and 7 am.

Getting there

I think getting to the hotel may have been a little difficult with out our GPS....the GPS took us straight to it...roads and signs could be a bit difficult to determine where to go. And leaving was the same.

“Your room may smell like the pool....”

My stay was a disaster.....The tub drain was stopped up, the water pressure was poor, the sink's drain thing was broken and was at the bottom of the sink....the elevator floors stayed nasty and sticky my whole stay....which was the entire wknd....I called 4 times to the front desk to tell them about the elevator floor....nothing was done. All in all the only good things, were the shuttle to and from the outlet mall and the Coffee Cafe lady that helped me.
