“Very well located”

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night to see the RC tree and do some shopping. This hotel is centrally located, clean and well staffed. Would stay here again.

“Great Stay!!!”

My sister and I took our three little girls ages 6, 6 and 9 to New York City for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We needed a hotel room that could accomodate 5 and this hotel was the only one that could accomodate us without charging a small fortune! We were very pleased with our stay here. There were two queen size beds along with a full size pull out sofa couch. Would certainly stay here again!

“Hotel for Five in New York City”

I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you are a party of 5. It is hard to find an affordable hotel that accommodates five people as most hotel rooms are only able to accommodate four people. The Courtyard by Marriott in New York City Manhattan Midtown East is clean, comfortable, and roomy enough for five guests. Time Square and Rockefeller Center is just a few blocks walk, and the subway is right around the corner. It was also fairly easy to catch a cab, which is not always an easy task in NY.There was also just about every type of restaurant in walking distance -- affordable and high end. A great deal and family friendly.

“I LOVE NYC”

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER VISITING NEW YORK AND OF COURSE I HAD FEAR BECAUSE OF THINGS THAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO RESIDE THERE. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE RUDE. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT EVERYONE I MET WAS EXTREMELY PLEASANT. EVERYONE AT THE HOTEL WAS SO NICE, THAT WHENEVER I VISIT NEW YORK AGAIN, THIS IS THE ONLY HOTEL I WILL STAY IN. 2 THUMBS UP TO THE STAFF. I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

I READ A REVIEW THAT OCTOBER IS A GOOD TIME TO GO. THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT, EVEN WHEN IT RAINED. WE WERE DRESSED FOR THE RAIN BUT WHEN WE GOT HOME (BACK TO CALI) IT WAS SO HOT, THAT WE WANTED TO TURN AROUND AND GO BACK TO THE RAINY WEATHER.

“Our stay at Courtyard by Marriott in Midtown.”

Very conviniently located.. Close to all the places where we wanted to go, nice restaurants around.. Grand central is walking distance..Parking at the hotel. staff were very helpful, arranged taxis, limos..on time. We were lucky to have a corner room which was really spacious and we all stayed close to each other..(our group) ..will stay again..

“Not plush but comfortable, clean and well-positioned.”

This hotel is one of those 'in and out' types. It's not plush but is clean and in a good spot close to subway, walking distance from Grand Central Station and a bit further to Times Square. Staff were very helpful, too. I would generally recommend to others but perhaps not if it was a special trip away when you like the bells and whistles.

Area recommendations

Times Square - easy to get north and south and busy, bustling place. Greenwich Village - trendy, cools bars and cafes, less touristy.

“Annual Girls Trip”

My friend Lynn and I take our 9 year old daughters to New York City every year to visit the American Girl Store. We have stayed in this hotel the last 2 years and will continue to do so. It's close to everything we need and want to do. The employees are exceptional and tend to your every need.
