“Couryard Marriott”

I stayed at this hotel after having red a few good reviews. got there on the first day and wasn't impressed with the location at all. The temperature in my room was set at 75 degrees and the AC in the hotel was out. I had to call a technician to open the windows since they could only be open with a special key. There is no room service at all which was quite surprising. There is a small bistro in the lobby and the food was bellow average unless you like dennis type food. The only convenient part was the fact that the hotel was 5 minutes away from Lagardia airport and the offer shuttles every 15 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!

“Marriott is predictably a great hotel”

Anywhere in the country, I'm always happy with a Marriott.

Getting there

There are 2 Marriotts near the LaGuardia airport. If you tell a taxi driver "The LaGuardia Marriott", you might end up at the wrong one. Pay attention to the actual address. Taxi from Upper East Manhattan to the hotel, including the tip was $30 (in no traffic). Marriott offered car service back into Manhatten for $41. We easily walked from the hotel to the bus stop and took the bus/subway to mid town Manhatten for $4.25 each, but public transportation took about 45 min.

“Would go back”

Everyone was very nice. We did get in late but did still get to eat at their bar/restaurant area. They were all friendly there also. We even met a girl that was from our area that worked there. Small world. Our room was clean. For an older hotel it was great. I would go back. It was close to airport and convient.
