“Would go back for sure”
Returning to Newark I would diffinitly rent again at this hotel
“very impressed”
very nice and convient you frre shuttle to mall and free shuttle to and from airport the staff are friendly and very helpful will be returning
“Not bad for the price”
The hotel is very close to the airport, (we could see the planes landing and taking off) but... We did not hear it. It was really nice and quiet. The hotel is not very new, the beds were good, the suite that I was in was 2 very small rooms. Having a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge was a big plus. TV reception was poor. (maybe because it was a very windy rainy day) The rooms could be cleaner. I would go there again if the price was right, but not in the suite because it was 2 very small rooms. We were 2 people and just kept on bumping into each other.
“Good location for shopping but no housekeeping”
This hotel is pretty good if you wanna go to the outlets mall, but if your staying just overnight to catch a morning flight i think you have better and cheaper options, what i did not like of this hotel is that housekeeping did not show up at all and i stayed for 3 nights and i advised fornt desk but no action taken, so beds were fine hotel clean when i get there bt they will not even show up to clean even the bathroom
“Airport Convenience”
Originally they gave me a former smoking room on the 7th floor, which is loud due to the proximity of the airport, and smelled terrible. When I requested a room change, the front desk staff bluntly told me there were no other room available. However, when I asked the chief engineer to come fix the air conditioner, which wasn't working in the room, he called the front desk and asked them to change my room. Suddenly there were plenty of rooms available. I think if you book through a 3rd party they give you the worst rooms. Second room on the 5th floor was fine, didn't smell like the smoker's room, and was much quieter. Basic 2.5 star hotel. The rest of the stay was uneventful, although note that the airport shuttle leaves 5 minutes later than they say it will, to allow a window of opp for flight crews. Five minutes can make all the difference for regular travelers who need to get through regular security.
“Nice Surprise”
I needed to be in Brooklyn for a convention and local hotels were either very expensive or did not have great ratings. Country Inns had a great reviews and I see why. They we priced very well and only 12 miles from where I needed to be. Unofrtunately in the NY/NJ area 12 miles translates into approximately one hour of driving. Hotel staff was very friendly and responsive. This is a relatively new hotel, nice facility, and amenities. The complimetary breakfast was great. It does get packed with a lot of people so know you will be eating with a lot of people. Free internet and parking. The negative is that it is in a mixed industrial area. It has a few malls surrounded by tractor trailer terminals. The area is safe enough, but don't think your room view will be the country side. There's a Ruby Tuesday next door and made it easy for dinner. If you are looking to save some money, be a nice, clean, and safe hotel, this will fit the bill. If you are looking to do Manhatten from here, you might be wise to look a little closer. Overall, very happy with this hotel.
“Brilliant, convienient and friendly”
Fantastic hotel, staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. Shuttle bus runs about every half hour taking you either to the airport to pick up the trianinto New York City, or across the road to the Jersey Gardens shopping Mall. Very spacious rooms and clean and tidy. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and would certainly stay here again.
“Great Hotel”
Location is good. Next to a major mall and dining options. Good base for NYC visits if you drive. Very well-kept hotel that comes with a gated carpark - major plus point compared with other hotels nearby. The complimentary breakfast was superb. Excellent service from all staff we encountered, including the carpark staff. Recommended for families with young children. Only pity was the pool water was too cold for kids when we stayed in early October.
“Last minute pick. Great surprise!”
So many hotels in the Newark area had such horrible reviews that I was a bit nervous about booking one in my price range. I had been visiting friends in CT, Mass and NJ and needed a quiet, comfortable hotel for the night before flying out early. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does the hotel appear new and clean and have great front end staff, it is incredibly quiet and seemed to be patronized by business men and air crew. Highly recommend.
“very nice hotel”
We were very happy with the location (across from Jersey Gardens), the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and they had a very nice buffet breakfast each day.
