“Great hotel, will stay there again.”

This is a great hotel for travelers that are familiar with Queens, NY. Is close to mayor shopping centers and restaurants. The staff was so nice and attentive.

“Great customer service, Location may be creepy”

This hotel really tops most 4 star hotels in terms of ammenities - complimentary breakfast, refrigerator, ironing board all come with the price. The price is very reasonable compared to other NY hotels in the surrounding area. Quick 10 min drive to the subway, and by the way they are one of the few hotels in NY with a shuttle service. The double bedroom space is a bit tight, but the cleanliness compensates. The one thing that creeped me out about the hotel upon arrival is the long row of cemetary that faces the hotel. I wanted to switch hotels because of this but was unable to that weekend. Ask for a room that does not face the cemetary side if you choose to stay. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and there is a great chinese place (Yummy Yummy) that you should try while you are there. The room cleaning crew can be a bit noisy in the hallway -don't think they realize that folks may be sleeping or working in their rooms.The front desk service made our stay bearable.

“Good impression of New York”

My husband and I were a little anxious about going to New York from our little town in Canada and we heard stories about rude people and rushing people. We didn't find any of that as I am sure there are in every cities. The hotel shuttle was on time, the hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful. We stayed a little far from Manhattan because of the expense and it was more important to be closer to the airport esp because of the shuttles. We took bus tours on the double decker which I would highly recommend. Other than the cost of the food (sharing charge for nachos haha) we spent under our budget and would definitely stay there again. A few burn holes in the carpet and bedspread but clean and impressive.

“Very good value for money”

This hotel is very good and the staffs are very helpful. The best thing about it is the free shuttle from hotel to the nearest subway station (61st street/Woodside). The breakfast was good and the room was very clean. The service was also nice. Strongly recommend.

“Excellent Serice!! Great Affordable for Groups”

I have never written a review like this before, but this hotel was so amazing... I wanted to let everyone know. We brought a group of high school students to New York and needed a place that was affordable, comfortable, had free breakfast, and could get us to and from the airport free and to and from the subway free. They met all of the above and then some. The shuttle service was OUTSTANDING!! When we were almost back from the city on the subway, we'd call and they would be there within a few minutes. When we needed to get to the airport they got our entire group in one trip and got us there on time. The breakfast was excellent and always abundant and the rooms were comfortable and sufficient! I can't speak highly enough about their service. They accidentally charged our card and immidietely looked it up and reversed the charges without hassle. We'll definitely return!!

“Great value”

Not the best location in the area, but this hotel was one of the better values I have found when traveling. Free breakfast, complimentary coffee, friendly staff..

“Good price alternative to Manhattan hotels.”

Good clean less expensive alternative to high price hotels in Manhattan. Hotel is only a couple of years old. Has free on site parking. Rooms where very comfortable and much larger than you would find over the East River. If you want a good pizza or sandwich try the place recommended by the hotel. It's right up the street. Not the best neighborhood. If you have the front desk arrange transportation be sure to specify what you want a taxi or limo. And if you get a limo ask for the price in advance and negotiate!!!

“Nice Hotel”

Nice place to stay in New york. It is not too expensive, and it is very clean and comfortable. Not in a nice neighborhood, but with a shuttle that gets you to the subway, so it takes you aprox. 45 minutes to new york center. Breakfast is an interesting experience of american culture for europeans like me. Would stay there again.
