“Not so good but worth the money”
Old hotel, but convenient to get to airport
“Worked out well for price to check out NYC”
I was on a trip for aerial photography of lower Manhattan and needed a decent place but couldn't afford a more centralized location - access to Manhattan and other parts of NYC is relatively easy and cheap if you use the bus stop across the street to the Jackson Heights subway station - seemed to be a well-run enough establishment I thought.
“Exactly what it says on the tin; a great cheap overnight near LGA”
No frills, but for the price you don't expect any. Clean and everything worked...
“Weird, Out Dated and no sleep”
The hallway is on a downhill slope. The rooms are out dated. House keeping sloped my room. The clerk at the front desk called my room at 04:00 in the morning to tell me to take my phone off the hook while they worked on the phone lines and then asked if I wanted a wake up call. The dummy woke me up and had me take the phone off the hook so how was he supposed to call me? When I left the room I informed the front desk about my dissatisfaction so the confronted him and he denied it by shaking his head. Two nights later he was out side taping on my window. These people are crazy. Plus the sirens go by all night long. Never stay here if you need to sleep.
“Good location for air travel”
Orginally reserved double rooms. Expedia reseved single rooms. Paid extra fee to change rooms. Fortunately rooms were available. Morning breakfast very convenient. I would stay again.
“ernest”
OK if you do not mind a 2 star hotel. Friendly staff.
“It wasn't worth the money”
We chose this hotel because of the location right across from LGA. The room was the last along a very long hallway which was a very long walk with an infant and toddler.. We had to go down a very narrow and steep ramp to get there. No wheelchair would want to go up or down it. There was garbage left in the trash. The beds were full size not the advertised queen. The room was very tiny and not worth the money. Also there was a homeless person inside that had to be excorted out by the police. Breakfast was the normal fare but the coffee was undrinkable. I'm a New Yorker and have tolerance for many things but this hotel isn't worth it. Stay somewhere else.
“not as good as last time”
I stayed there in March and was very satisfied, probably because my room was close to the elevator. This time, my room was down two hallways, the second of which sloped down. I don't understand why I was not placed in a room closer to the elevator as the hotel was not busy at all. Breakfast is OK - have had better, esp. at the hotel just down the street, The LaGuardia Airport Hotel. For the price, it was not a great deal, but I was happy to have a room with a bed and bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful, esp. with directions to get into the city.
“Not something to call back home.”
Not to bad, in my case the location was very convinient. I just notice that cleaning the stairs and hallways were no their top priority. The room lack a small frige or microwave. staff was friendly.
“wish it had free parking”
this hotel has no free parking . had to park on the street or pay$19 for parking at the back of hotel when the hotel parking is full for only$8.
