This is the idea hotel for a stay in NYC. Perfect location, just off Times Square, so you’re away from the crowds and constant noise, but still close enough to all the midtown attractions. 10 minute walk to Rockefeller, easy walk to Central Park, MSG and subways to anywhere else you want to go.
The rooms are small by design, but perfectly laid out, with a place for everything so they don’t actually feel small. 2 closets, plenty of storage, a huge drawer. Giant, comfortable oversized king bed with comfy pillows and snuggly duvet. Big window overlooking the city. As with a lot of NY hotels, the bathroom is basically just sectioned off in the main room, but still has a as surprising amount of privacy. Lights, climate, blinds, tv, and housekeeping are all controlled by an iPad in the room connected to your account. You can choose how often you want housekeeping, daily or less often. Love the contactless aspect.
The lobby, living room, bar and outdoor area are all beautifully decorated and fun to hang out in. We unfortunately didn’t visit the bar on the upper floor. I’m sure it’s amazing. Great breakfast in the morning.
Check-in is all self-serve, which I loved. Super easy, and it gave us the option of which room we wanted (high or low floor, type of view, etc.). There is a staff member at the check in desks at all times for those who might not be as comfortable with self check in. Zero complaints about the hotel or our stay! Can’t wait to come back!
