“Decent, clean hotel”
Decent hotel with larger than expected rooms. No problems with bedbugs. Staff very friendly and helpful. A little pricey for the quality, definitely not a luxurious hotel, but clean and in a good location.
“Perfectly fine”
Clean and comfortable. Large rooms.
“Good quality”
People were friendly, bell hops were helpful, breakfast not so great, clean, neighborhood not so great but ok
“perfect location”
it was in the middle of broadway - close to so many shopping places. the hotel staff was extremely professional and nice. the only bad thing was that you could hear the subway train at night. other than that it was nice and quite. there is plenty of parking near by and you can also park on side of the street after 6pm until 8am. Overall, i enjoyed my stay.
“large room and free breakfast”
Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed New York, Handy to Jc Penney and Macy Store, large spacey room, clean and warm. Free continental breakfast which was a bonus. {bagels, croissants, apple or orange, pastries and fruit juice, coffee and tea], staff were friendly and helpful at all times,
“looks bad but really isn't " will book this hotel again"”
When we pull up,we thought it was quiet a rough area after looking at some pics of other travellers and wasn't looking forward to it at all, but once got in was pleasantly surprised, it was clean, rooms massive, breakfast was a bonus with tea and coffee 24 hours a day, best take a tray down for breakfast and have it back in your room on your table as the breakfast room is small, had a room overlooking the empire state building which was lovely, rooms are very hot (to hot), its 5 mins walk from the hotel to Macy's and other shops and 10 mins to times square/ theatre district, turn left out of hotel and just walk straight up. Anthony the doorman is very nice and helpful who can help with booking and directions. he booked us a night cruise and flagged a cab down for us, I will defo stop here again
“Fabulous find in New York!”
I booked this hotel for myself and 3 friends which is always a bit nervewracking incase it turns out to be rubbish! No worries - the reception staff were frendly & efficient, as were the concierge & bell boy. Large, well appointed room with 2 extremely comfortable beds (you need to sleep well after pounding the streets of NY!) The bathroom was huuuge with a bath & shower. Lots of hot water & good water pressure. A real bonus was the complimentary breakfast served each morning on a help yourself basis. Fresh bagels, donuts, pastries, muffins - and lots of them! Hot drinks available 24/7 which was greatly appreciated. I would stay here again..
“Clean and tidy”
Nice and clean with very helpful staff. The only downside was that the lift was a bit noisy. Great view of the Empire State Building from our room. The breakfast room is tiny but not really a problem as you can take breakfast back to your room.
“Good Value”
On a less than glamourous stretch of Broadway, but handy to subway and good bars and restaurants. Just a few blocks from Penn Station. I'd definitely stay there again
