"Tribeca rocks."
Adorable hotel. Great staff. Small NYC type rooms. Near Subway stops, great neighborhood restaurants. Feels like you are living in NYC, instead of visiting. And they promise they will put hooks in the bathroom! I will stay there again.

"Amazing view, Incredible staff"
Trendy hotel with irreplaceable staff. The view is breathtaking from the rooftop and also had a great view of the Manhattan skyline from my hotel room. All of which make it the best choice for your the place stay when visiting New York! The food and drinks in the Z lounge were delicious! Really appreciated the free shuttle into Manhattan and back.

"Great location & outstanding service!"
We stayed at Tryp in Manhattan because we were going to see the band Rocket from the Crypt in Brooklyn. Tryp was clean and conveniently located near Times Square, Empire State Building, etc. Alphonzo the concierge was AWESOME! He helped us find a route on the subway that got us right to the concert venue. Keep in mind Google Maps had us going an indirect route only because it was based on walking distance of the closest subway station. Alphonzo advised us to walk to a further station to get a more direct route with fewer transfers. Google is nice, but a life long New Yorker is far superior.

"Great stylish midtown hotel on the east side."
We booked a flight and hotel deal and got the room for $80 a night down from $150 which was quite good value compared to other offerings. Very happy with the location. The area was quite lively, with lots of restaurants and bars a short walk away on 2nd Avenue and in Hells Kitchen on 9th Avenue. The room came with a full size fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker in the room which were great features. A freshly brewed coffee complete with French Vanilla milk each morning is far superior to either an instant coffee (yuk!) or a tea.

"Not like a typical hotel"
What I love about the Kimpton hotels are there ability to be a hotel without feeling like a hotel. The rooms are modern, designed and feel a lot more comfortable than most.

"Long weekend in NYC"
My husband and I came to NYC for a long weekend. The hotel was located right in the center of everything. 2 blocks from Central Park, walking distance to the Metropolitan Opera, Broadway, Times Square and the 5th Avenue. We even walked to the MET and the Guggenheim museum. The hotel is very small, but cosy. We got upgraded to a junior suite, which was rather spacious for a NY hotel room and we've stayed in NY hotels before, so we could compare. They have a lounge area not he second floor open all day where you can make yourself tea, coffee or hot chocolate or pick up some fruit. Nice touch. The roomstyle is. Very modern. The shower is very nice!
