“Will go back , Amazing for price! Went to see N.Y. and family not gold faucets”

Staff friendly, came with breakfest. Slept thru all but one day. Was a nice layout. Will go back. Did not stay at hotel to make friends or be impressed. Excellent sleep , comfortable room with excellent heat and air. Want fancy stay at Ritz.

“New York Vacation”

The Best Western was conveniently located for us, close to shopping and family. We are New Yorkers so we know our way around and didn't mind on-street parking. The last day of our stay, the elevator wasn't working and it wasn't fixed until after we left. We were on the fourth floor and had to carry our luggage down four floors, not convenient!!!! Surprised that emergency service was not called in for a hotel elevator. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly.

Area recommendations

Best Western is the only hotel in that part of Brooklyn, it is convenient to the city with the subway just steps away. It is convenient to shopping, and many good restaurants. It is a safe area. Parking is sometimes a little difficult, but if you aren't willing to drive around a few blocks, there is always parking at the hotel.

“Only Hotel in the area...so a must have”

the hotel needs an overhaul of the old rooms...I have a feeling some of the rooms other than the ones reserved for Expedia are quite nice for others staying in the hotel said the rooms were nice. My room 306 was old with a small bathroom...my room although clean needed a complete overhaul...the rug was old and dirty....etc.

Area recommendations

The Gregory Hotel is the only hotel in the area. The hotel would be great if they redid all of the rooms...the rooms reserved for Expedia guests needed a complete rennovation.

“Happy 50th Reunion”

I was satisfied with the service and accomodations. Price was very reasonable for NYC. Hotel was clean but room was on small side but adequate. In room safe fit my 15.6'' laptop nicely, this was a bonus at no added charge. Breakfast was Ok!

I would not have stayed there unless I had a major reason. I stayed because I had a function to attend in town. Brooklyn needs some real hotels!!!

“Brooklyn Short Vacation”

The hotel is a good value and has a convenient location in one of Brooklyn's best neighborhoods. The subway, eateries and coffee shops are all a walking distance from the hotel in a safe neighborhood. The hotel front desk is rude and the doorman indifferent to some patrons, so do not expect much courtesy from the staff, to be expected from some in New York. But overall better to stay here than much more expensive Manhattan.

Area recommendations

Bayridge, Sunset Park and especially Park Slope are good neighborhoods to visit for their safety diversity and good places to eat and shop. Just ask the locals for advice on the best shops etc. Park Slope and Prospect Park are good places to visit for the historical architecture and diversity of it's integrated neighborhood. The rest of the country (especially The South) could learn good lessons form this neighborhood!

“It's ok it's not a manhattan ;)”

Spent here just two nights. It is ok just to have a sleep and go further to watch the NY. The hotel is located near to the Subway station 86st, so in a 40 minutes you are in the heart of the manhattan with no any switch. Cleanliness is not perfect but is ok for the hotel of such level.

“Nearest hotel to our son”

This hotel is the closest hotel to our son and it is in a very good area. The hotel is clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants and stores very near by.
