Located near the Queensboro Bridge and the Roosevelt Island Tram, public transportation right outside with the buses and metro stations a few blocks away. Ritz Diner, Lunetta Pizza, and a lot of other places are nearby. Fully recommend staying at The Bentley Hotel.

It was a great stay, first time in New York. I just wish they would of had a restaurant in the hotel. The staff was great and the view was amazing. People were pleasant and we just had a blast. Poped the big question to my lady and she said yes, thanknyou New York.

Quick to resolve issue
I slept very well! The bathroom is my only complaint. Caulking and the bottom of the tub aren’t top notch. I had to call about no hot water but the issue was resolved within 10 minutes of calling it in.

Nice experience, bathroom somewhat lacking
Location is great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and stylish. I wish the bathroom would have had CONTER Space (not just a narrow glass shelf) to place the toiletry bag. There was rust around the bath tub drain and I did not want to step into that tub to take a shower.

Our room did not have hot water for the shower. We talked to the front desk. It was fixed. Then the following night there was no hot water again. It happened the three nights we were there. The positive, is when I went to check out they comped our breakfasts that were charged to our room. Very friendly staff.

I was a bit anxious booking this property as the room rate was such a bargain. My King/Deluxe room was a corner room on the 14th floor overlooking the bridge and river. The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean and comfortable bed with crisp, clean sheets and bedding. Staff is friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out! I would definitely recommend this hotel for business, or pleasure travel!

We booked a room specifically for the "city view" they are so sure to highlight- only to find that the blinds were completely broken. The pull cord that should have been used to move the blinds up and down, to allow a view of the the city- the main focus of our stay- had been COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF, leaving the blinds permanently down with no way to open them. We called the front desk and asked to be moved to a different room- only to be offered a room that did not have the same view. Why would we book a city view room, which costs more, and then take a room without the view we specifically paid for? As it was 20 degrees outside on a March night, and we got in at 10:30pm, we had no other choice but to stay with the hotel room we got. We were offered free breakfast, but we booked this hotel for the view, not breakfast, and we declined. When we checked out the next morning, I made sure to make the front desk staff aware- and they seemed surprised that our experience was so poor. When I called the following day I was told by the supervisor that management is well aware that the blinds in many rooms are broken because the Bentley Hotel was used as a shelter during COVID and the damages sustained to the hotel during that time have never been fixed or updated. When the view of the city is your selling point, and you are fully aware that you are making people pay for something they won't get? That is a deceptive and underhanded way of doing business.

It served its purpose
The gotel served its purpose. I needed a room for thw night at the last minute. I reserved a Superior room with a queen bed and was told they upgraded me to a double. It was a 9x15 room with 2 double beda. Not an upgrade in my opinion. There was no hot water. I dont do cold showers. The front desk lady was very cordial and polite. She was a 10.

The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. There is a beautiful view of the city. We went out in Times Square so we were close but the action. The convenience of the parking garage is the best part. We didn’t spend a bunch of time searching for parking. We had the nicest clerk at check in. Very helpful. Bar in the lobby is a plus. Would stay again for sure.

WiFi internet and TV was broken for all 2 days I was there. On my first request a manager told me that they going to call a technician to come. Next day another manager told me that Internet service company is too far and they will call me instead. And I would need to pay routing phone charges to fix their problem? Last day on check out I was told that they do not do anything with it. New comers are welcome. Heater is noisy, water pipe noise arrestor would be nice to have.

The bar doesn’t exist, it’s closed. The rug in the room smelled; not bad per se, just like dirty laundry. Photo’s definitely look better than reality. Had to run the shower for 7 minutes to get warm. Location is good, view was fine, comfortable sleep… decent price but won’t book again

I planned my trip to NYC to donate bone marrow to save a cancer patients life. I emaioed the hotel to tell them I would be arriving on a tuesday on a red eye from Costa Rica and asked about early check in. I emailed them directly not through a 3rd party. I was told to reserve the room for Monday too in order to be certain the room was ready for me. I didbook the room an extra day and then emailed them to be sure they knew I would not be there until tuesday and to please have my room ready when I got there after traveling all night. Well I arr8ved to confused looks and I quote "we maroed you as a no show so we dont have a room for you until 3pm. Just in from the tropics its snowing I have major medical things to deal with and then Im stuck with no where to go. The6 wouldnt even give a full refund until i threatened lawyers. Rented a room paid for it then they re rejt3d it to someone eose and tried to keep my money. Stay on a bench in Centeal 0park ijstead of booking here. Your odds will be better that it will be available when you arrive

So I’m usually not picky about hotels, I just turned 21 and booked to stay for 4 days, the view was definitely captivating but there was definitely some technical issues first when we arrived the window blind was broken so someone had to come up and fixed I called the lobby clerk and she said the window blinds are always breaking which he used a zip tied to fix it. The only thing that made up for all of this was the great view and location; I didn't make a big deal out of the bathtub being clogged, but it would fill up so quickly and the air conditioner wouldn't function correctly whenever we tried to use it. Overall I would give a 5/10 I really wished I could give a higher rate.

Don't let the images fool you. Property is not managed well at all, super old, dirty rooms, and their customer service was non-existent. I asked for a suite room to have a pull out bed and they never brought bed sheets, blankets or pillows. The phone in the room conveniently was not working so I had to go to the front desk multiple times to complain and at the end of the day nothing was done. The room was dirty with old liquor bottles and missing cleanliness overall. Do not recommend anyone to stay here unless the items above don't bother you at all.

The Bentley was just right for me. My wife was at NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell Hospital. She stayed for four nights. I didn’t know how many days she would be staying so I booked the room for 6 nights. Expedia and The Bentley were able to refund me the two nights that we originally booked. The location was excellent for the hospital. It was .4 miles from the hospital. I walked each time other than when it was snowing. It’s less than a 10 minute walk in a semi safe area. Housekeeping and front desk were excellent! Also, we had an issue with the light switch, which maintenance fixed immediately. Every employee was very nice and helpful! I will be staying there again!

Hotel was very close to the parking garage, and our Drs. office. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The only negatives were the noise of traffic outside, and the lighting in the room was very dull.
