“Glad it was for only one night. I left at 5am so I never experienced the breakfast.”

The red lobby and decor was unfortunate. / The name of the hotel is not apparent from the outside/ the safe in the room was on the floor of the closet which would make one have to crawl down to eye ball the key pad. The closet had terrible hangers which kept falling due to the backward nature of the clip that supposedly secures them. No coffee machine in the room. The staff was fine and I felt sorry for them having to work in stressful situations, ie: room keys not working, temp guage not working,, etc... The wattage in the rooms was the lowest I've ever experienced in any hotel. The bathroom was fine.

I had a dinner scheduled on the west side which is why I chose this hotel

“Fantastic”

We stayed here for one night of a three night stay in NY and wished we had stayed for all three. We had a newly refurbished room which was spotless and pristine. Amazingly comfortable beds. Gorgeous (if small) shower room. Only negative was lack of coffee making facilities in the room (not unusual in NY but would be nice). And the breakfast was fairly ropey for $10. However, the staff were lovely - very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Great place - would definitely go back.

“good hotel in better location”

unergoing some renovation so some bits of the hotel were out of order but this didn't affect our stay. Can't complain about anything else and the central locatio was ideal - we would go back again

“Will be nice when refurbishment complete”

Many aspects still getting fixed. Door locks flakey, window frame fell out, aircon would not cool.

The vicinity of Times Square is a great location for food and entertainment.

Getting there

Subway from JFK can be very much faster than a taxi.

“Bargain!!”

Great stay - lovely newly renovated hotel in amazing location (halfway betwen Times Square and Central Park, next to Studio 54 and Letterman). Only downside is the noise from the construction work opposite, which I think explains why it's so cheap.

“Great Place to Stay!”

The hotel staff was nice and polite - I had a quick check-in and a wonderful stay. The room was clean, comfortable beds, and an amazing shower. It has a great location. When I go back, I will definitely be booking here again

“wonderful location!!!!!”

During my stay in this hotel I had a problem with the key ( wasn't working well) After my complain, the manager gave 50 percent of descont in my bill, saying a real sorry! The service is really good, location the best and I will be back, for sure.

Getting around

Running time in the Central Park is a must!!!!! Let the shopping for later, since all shops will close after 9 pm.

“The location was great! The newly remodeled rooms were beautiful! Smelled good when entering!”

Expedia must update info on this hotel. I thought by the description about this hotel it was going to be a suite, with a sitting area, sofa, chairs and mini bar area. This was not the case. They are undergoing a complete renovation, and have taken out the suites. Didn't find this out till we got to our room. After speaking to the desk, they informed us they no longer have suites since they are remodeling. The hotel was very beautifully decorated, very posh and stylish. It smelled good soon as you walk into the lobby. The mattress slept great. Everything was super clean! I would stay there again for sure!

“Clean hotel at a great location”

+ Amazing, amazing location. Central Park and Times Square are mere blocks away. Well connected by subway + Recently renovated, so good, clean rooms + Friendly staff, prompt service event at 2AM in the night + Nice pubs and restaurants all around - Construction going on in the neighborhood so some rooms could be noisy - Very small rooms but then, it is NY after all - Small charges can add up, like paid WiFi, $5 for optional water bottle In the end, very satisfied with our stay. Would definitely come here again.
