Pros: Not sure

Strategic location

Posted 20-Jan-2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Valet parking. For $34 a nite, 15 min. Not 35 is all u it should take.
Location: Very fine dining, museums and street car. French quarter is easy walk.
Foodies, this is the place. Easy walk to very fie dining and museums. Be careful with valet parking. Make sure your name is correct on yours / their stub. Keep your stub until your sure u can get your car from attendant.

Good location, comfortable bed.

Posted 20-Jan-2015
The good: Great staff, easy check in and out, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Room was beautiful. The bad: Horrible options for parking, unless you wanted to pay $34 for valet. No breakfast included. They did have a menu for the down stairs restaurant, but the prices were outrageous. Even the continental style breakfast which is usually free at most hotels was ridiculously over priced here.

Almost perfect needs a couple improvements

Posted 20-Jan-2015
Pros: Location, location, location. Also the restaurant and staff.
Cons: Clean the vents in the rooms and replace the rusty ones.
Location: It's close to the quarter and museums so there is plenty to do.
First and foremost the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Holding our luggage twice at no charge was a godsend as we got off the cruise ship and arrived at the hotel before 9 am and our flight did not leave until late afternoon the next day. The location on St. Charles was very convenient to both the French Quarter and the Museum District. It is just over a 5 minute walk to Bourbon St. and a quick trolley ride to the Museums. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and soft. My wife loved the pillows as they were very comfortable and there were a lot of them. Both the room and hotel were clean and well kept with a couple exceptions. The issues were the vents in the room and bath area needed to be cleaned. The one in the room was dusty and the one in the bath was rusty. These are minor items but they do keep the hotel from being 5 stars in my book. The only other issue is the elevators were kinda clunky. They worked fine but they did make some interesting noises. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. We had brunch there one Sunday and my chicken and waffles were great. Again the staff at the restaurant were great. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Pros: Location
Price was good and we liked the location. Walking distance to the French Quarter and the WW11 Museaum. Lots of good restaurants near by.

Like a fancy Motel 6

Posted 16-Jan-2015
The Front desk person had multiple duties and was rushed but this was no problem. The room was doused in a citrus smell hat was so strong it was hard to breathe. The bed mattress was horrible. The bed shook and wobbled. The ice maker was broke and the elevator has seen better days in its past. If I had to stay here again I would bring but this hotel is on par with a budget hotel close to the interstate.
