“Very Good Hotel”

It is very close to the French Quarter. It has the normal Sheraton quality - comfortable beds and nice linens. The room was nice, but there was a bit of shabbiness to it - stains on the wall in the bathroom, etc., but much better than some other NOLA hotels near the French Quarter. I'd stay again pretty happily.

“Great location for Bayou Classic, Less than satisfied with prep for event”

The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel has a great location, walking distance from Superdome, French Quarter & Riverwalk. Great view of New Orleans from the 33rd floor where we stayed. Friendly staff. Not enough hotel parking (expected) had to pay $30 for off site parking. Poor info & directions about the offsite parking after waiting in long line. Invoked wrist band system to determine which guests actually stayed at hotel, so you need to shower with the thing I guess or face the long line at counter.

“New Orleans”

The hotel room was great and the location to the French Quarter was also great. My only complaint and it wasn't the hotels fault is that when we went, not knowing that there was a college bowl game, the city was packed, so the noise in the hallways was a bit much at times.

“Amazing service, super comfy bed and pillows.”

When we arrived, we were quickly greeted and given a lot of good advice about places to eat and hang out for awesome jazz. She was spot on! The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable and to be honest it was hard to leave the room. The view was spectacular as well. We would definitely stay here again.

“Sheraton great location”

I was very satisfied with the Sheraton. From check-in service to eating at the Pelican Bar, all staff were very friendly and helpful. I could not fault anything with this hotel. The location was the best, only 2 blocks to Bourbon Street in one direction and 3 blocks to the Riverwalk area. Couldn't be better.

Area recommendations

French Quarter has so much to see and do. All within walking distance. Jackson Square, St Louis Church, Flea markets it has it all. The tram cars can take you to the outer areas also and are cheap to ride.

I definitely recommend visiting Oak Alley Plantation, the best way is to take a tour as it it over an hour out of New Orleans. Also take the Hurricane Katrina City Tour, it is a humbling experience.

“Great Hotel!!!!”

Service is great, Everyone is friendly from the Vallet to the Front desk. Rooms have a lot of space, Beds are comfortable, and the view is Great. In Walkin to distance to Bourbon Street, and a Hurrah's Casino!!
