Nice hotel in the quarter

Went to New Orleans to celebrate my wife's birthday. Desires Oyster Bar was great, especially the grilled oysters. Only problem was that I had arranged for a bottle of champagne to celebrate and it was never delivered. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Two light bulbs out. Some outlets did not work. Dinner tray left in hallway when we checked in. Still there when we checked out the next day. Very loud drunk out in the hallway.

Perfectly in the middle of everything

This place is highly recommended. Just down the street from acme and a few minutes walk from cafe du monde. It's right in the middle of all the action. Surrounded by bars, it's the perfect place for Mardi Gras.

Pros: ITS LOBBY AND LIVE MUSIC BAR. ALSO THE OYSTER BAR IS EXCELLLENT. WE DIDN'T HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TASTE THE RESTAURANT
Cons: I AM NOT THE ONE TO TELL
Location: EVERYTHING IS NEARBY
WE HAD A LATE CHECK IN WITH A VERY WARM WELCOME AND EVERYTHING WAS READY AS WE REQUESTED IT IN THE RESERVATION

N'Orleans classic hotel

This is a good hotel right on Bourbon st I had a 6th floor room at the side no view but very quiet. Next time I would request a courtyard view.

just one night

If you want to be right in the middle of Bourbon Street this is your place. I was there for the evening only. The room was one of the small ones, but for an overnight it was comfortable and the bed was too. I could hear a little of the street crowd outside but only by the window. This is a nicely kept hotel. The in-room bar and valet parking is pricey, but considering you ARE on Bourbon Street, don't expect Motel 6. Overall a good place for my experience, and I have stayed at a few hotels in NOLA,,, downtown,FQ, WHD,CBD, and Mertaire

Poorly Maintained

Posted 25-Feb-2015
Lots of mold in bathroom, bent door knobs, towel rack coming off, balcony door has no insulation allowing cold air to enter room. Room temp could not be adjusted comfortably, even with help from engineering. Wall paper is loose at all seams. Did not sleep well for three nights because of street noise so loud in room. One employee very rude when we first arrived. Overall employee uniforms appeared to be well worn.
