“Great experience!”
Great location, great service...will definitely be back!
“Beautiful Elegance!”
Close to the central Bourbon Street action, hotel overall is fabulous. Beautiful, clean, wonderful polite gracious hotel staff. I will stay here every time I return to the French Quarter!
“The Royal Sonesta is truly Royal”
The entire staff were excellent. I will stay again someday
“Nice Place to stay !”
The hotel is in a great location if you want to stay central to Borbon Street. While it is on Burbon St. it is still very quite inside and offers a great swimming pool on the third floor \ roof. The hotel is kept very clean, fresh flowers everywhere. The hotel offers a Nice Jazz lounge, great place to meet your friends before heading out. It is central to most places so easy to walk to and from.
“Best Service”
We always stay at the Royal Sonesta when we visit New Orleans. We stayed somewhere else only once and learned our lesson. If you love being spoiled & pampered, this is the place to stay. Plus, it's right in the heart of the Quarter. Everything is right at your fingertips. This place is our favorite because of the excellent service & friendliness of the staff. You will never meet a rude person at the Sonesta.
“Second time there but not the last”
From the time you pull into the parking garage you know you are at a place where you are important. From the parking valet to the bell man, through regestration, house keeping and the door men all of the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and courtious. From I-10, access and exit from the hotel is a piece of cake. The hotel is centrally located in the French Quarter and is within walking distance of Jackson Square, The French Market, The ' City of The Dead' and many fine shops and restaurants. This is a non smoking hotel so I would advise getting a balcony room if you smoke. The rooms overlooking Bourbon and Conti streets can be a little noisey so consider a courtyard room. In my opinion, while in New Orleans, this is the place to stay.
“Kitty's fun weekend”
We had fun and the staff was very nice .
“Turn down service and a plush, quiet bed in the Quarter. It was great.”
Turn down service and a plush, quiet bed in the Quarter. It was great. Jazz bar on the main floor with delicious, creative drinks. Valet service.
“The best of what New Orleans has to offer.”
Check in service is above & beyond what anyone can expect. You are greeted by all staff members as if you are the most important customer in the world. The rooms are very clean to the point of immaculate and very lavish accomodations. Take full advantage of the concierge service. So very helpful, and gave us wonderful recommendations & reservations. You should almost make a point of a daily stop at this desk while you are visiting. You definately get much more than you pay for at this hotel.
“Best in Bourbon”
Class in a street of chaos. Staff helpful and knowledgeable, particularly Victor. Good size rooms with comfy beds. Loved the 7th floor lounge and dining area. Will definitely stay again.
