I am only allergic to dust and mold, and the hotel room caused me the most intense allergy attack I have ever experienced. The power outlets on either side of the bed did not work. Only one of my keycards worked and when they tried fixing it, the one that used to work, stopped working so I never got two functional keys. I liked the nice staff, the convenient restaurant in the hotel lobby and the view from the room. Beds were very comfortable but this was overshadowed by the intense allergies the room gave me.

The hotel underdelivered
Brad at the front desk was delightful and patient. My room was outdated. Nothing closed all the way (i.e., shower door, cabinet door where fridge is stored). The room was dingy so it looked some staining on the marble and bathroom wasn’t quite clean. Lastly, the pillows were awful. As soon as you laid on them they went flat. I slept on all four pillows and still was almost level with the mattress.

I frequent New Orleans and have never found a mid-priced hotel stay to be pleasant UNTIL I found the Renaissance. I stayed in Oct & had a wonderful experience, so I was cautiously optimistic that it would be the same this time. It was. I highly recommend this hotel!

Overpriced and a disappointed.
I did not realize that the room I booked was not even the size of a bedroom! That's their description of a Cozy room. When I realized this the front desk clerk was indifferent, to say the least, suggesting that people need to read. It was extremely overpriced for the size. I left a day early.

The best thing you can say about any hotel is “I’d stay here again”!! Definitely a four star property. Starting with manager who greets you at door and helps you feel right at home. We had a couple of requests and he knocked himself out to accommodate. Rooms are neat and up to date. Front counter associates were personable, pleasant and helpful. Great place!

The way the outside of the property is online, it doesn’t look like that in person. I think that the young man’s name was Leon (something like that) overcharged us for parking after I told him it was for 3 hours for my sister. He said that he assumed the amount. The AC on our room was facing the wall so the room didn’t really cool off. The elevator was fast. Everything was clean. Beds are hard and pillows are too soft.

Could not have had nicer staff! My daughter and I came in super early for our one night stay, and the front desk clerk (around 6:30am) was very kind, knowledgeable about the area and just a pleasant guy to speak to. He was able to check us in early, which meant we had a safe place to take a nap before heading out to our activities. Everyone we met were super friendly, and personable too. The restaurant/bar’s food was phenomenal, and the service extremely good. We loved our waitress, and the bartender. (6pm) The hotel is close to the action, which meant a little noisier than I’d like, but for a beautiful city that never sleeps, that’s a price I’m willing to pay.

The hotel is ok. Staff is friendly and nice. The room was ok, the bathroom/toilet were not very clean and the water didn’t drain well in the tub.
