Dining
Le Meritage - Inspired by the success of the French Quarter Wine Festival and modeled after the award-winning Meritage Restaurant at the Boston Harbor Hotel, Le Meritage specializes in regional cuisine (gumbos, gulf seafood). The menu changes regularly and features four categories of wine characteristics rather than varietals with dishes to complement those flavor profiles. Open for dinner, the restaurant makes its own pastries, breads, and pastas. The dining room has white tablecloths and high-backed chairs; some of its floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the palm-lined courtyard, where meals also can be served.
Bistreaux - Casual dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.

“Enjoyed our stay”
Although we loved our stay at the Maison Dupuy hotel....we had difficulties because we were towing an 8' U-Haul trailer...a parking nightmare. The Night door man (Russell) was very helpful and allowed us to park across the street for the first night we were there. We had to move the vehicle because the city cleans the streets on Tuesday mornings and we parked in an outdoor lot a few blocks down, which cost us $70!!! New Orleans, and this hotel definitely not set up for trailer parking etc...We also had an interesting experience in the hotel restaurant. We were given drink vouchers and tried to use them our first night there and were told they did not apply to our wine or drink selection (the waiter also dropped part of our pizza on the floor and said they would bring us another one and never did). We went back the next night to use our drink tickets and when asked what kind of wine we were given, it was exactly the same wine that the waiter said we couldn't use the night before. They were out of the house wine and had to substitute. Our dinner was good, but was not impressed by the waiter. All in all we enjoyed the hotel, beds were very comfortable and it was conveniently located to the Bourbon St. etc..., nice to not have to use a vehicle to get around. Would also recommend Delmonico's for dinner, very good and great service!
“would definitely stay here again wonderful hotel”
the staff very friendly, hotel wonderful and charming
“Great Stay Hotel”
Very nice accomodattions and located close to everything in the French Quarters. Staff was great along with the restaurants food. I'll definetly stay there again.
“my review”
hotel staff at the front desk was nice Saturday morning but rude Friday night when we checked in. They charged a total of 72 dollars to valet my car for two night. Last we went the weekend of the bayou classic which was a horrible night to be on bourbon street and at 2 or 3 in the morning there where people running yelling up and down the halls till the early hours of the morning.
“Would stay there again”
For the price the room was nice. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard. It was in a convenient location. We walked to most attractions. I understood there was a parking charge but was suprised at checkout they added a tax to the parking charge.
“Nice, affordable and in the Quarter”
If your looking for a place in the French Quarter, this is the place to stay. Room was clean and hotel was nice and within walking distance to Bourbon St.
“Very good hotel in a convenient location.”
The Maison Dupuy Hotel was very well worth the stay. It is located on the edge of the French Quarter and within walking distance of almost every main street/marketplace in the French Quarter. Room was clean, decent rates, friendly staff. I would go back to that hotel again.
“Great find in the French Quarter”
Great little hotel away from the craziness of bourban st but walkable to everything you would like to do in the French Quarter. Sarah the concierge was outstanding! She suggested and made reservations for us at two outstanding restaurants and helped us obtain tickets to a jazz club that we wanted to go to. Upon arriving on a delayed flight at 2am, we were greeted in a wonderful manner and our rooms were ready to go. The little bar attached to the hotel was lively.
“Convenient to Bourbon St., but not level as advertised”
I was looking forward to staying at Maison Dupuy before our trip. Once we checked in I was disappointed. Our room was small and very sparsely appointed. The furniture was worn and had paint splatters on it from the last time the room was painted .... I'm guessing. The closet was about one foot in depth, not a whole lot of room to hang your clothes. There was an iron and board in the closet, but both had seen their day many years ago. The room became very stuffy at times, especially when one of us took a shower. We were unable to open the windows because they were painted shut with several coats of paint. Two things that I can say about our stay that were positive are that the bed was very comfortable and the staff were courteous. Although, our room did not get fixed up one of the days we were there, the bed was left unmade and just the towels were changed out We saw the the room across the hall, which had a view down to the courtyard, and it looked quite a bit nicer. It is possible that we received a lesser room because we booked our stay in a package. Regardless, I don't plan to stay there again because it just wasn't what I was expecting after reviewing their site.
“Loved the Courtyard and the Staff”
We were quite pleased with the hotel. Found the staff very friendly; location was perfect and sitting in the courtyard in the evenings with a glass of wine was lovely and very peaceful. Only disappointment was the condition of the shower/bathtub. Some upgrades to plumbing would go a long way.
