“Matches the City”
The hotel, like much in the city, is quite old and you notice it. However, the rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location very convenient.

“Omni New Haven Funeral”
The hotel overall was fine. The pillows were not comfortable - which is unusual for a hotel of this qualtiy. The only option for breakfast was over $15.00 continental or a 27.00 full buffet. This was expensive since we stayed 3 days with 4 adults. The buffet was good but not remarkable - so overpriced. The continental was quite good - great fresh fruit and loved the kashi cereals - but also overpriced. The per room per day per computer fee of over 9.00 is not competitive when most hotels provide internet as part of the room fee. In addition, there were overcharge errors on the bilk both for internet and self-park charged as valet. The staff corrected this graciously but it did take our intervention and time.
“Good hotel if you want to be close to Yale”
First room had a moldy smell. We were given another room which was fine. No vending machines on any floor. Apparently they rather you use the minibar.
“Excellent weekend”
Overall very happy with the hotel. My wife and I stayed there while visiting my daughter, a grad student at Yale. The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel personnel were friendly and courteous, and the weekend room price was quite competitive. The parking price was, however, quite steep, and the charge for internet service is so 20th century. There are only three small elevators in a 19 story hotel, and that led to some waiting. Still, it was a very pleasant stay, and the location is as convenient as one can imagine.
“Great hotel”
Overall, the hotel was great. The gym was small, but the equipment was new and decent - better than most. The only problem was the wait time for the elevator. I was staying on the 18th floor, there were only 3 elevators. My last day, the hotel was packed with visitors and waiting for the elevator took a while.
“Best Place in New Haven”
I got a great price for the Omni and can't complain about any aspect of the hotel experience. The staff is incredible, the facilities top-notch and the view from the room of the campus green was superb. To nit pick, the room was small and I bugs me when expensive hotels charge for internet service. I have been to a few hotels in the area (there aren't many) and this is by far the most upscale.
“Convenient Location”
The staff was courteous, the room was good, and it is located right next to the Yale campus. There are a number of restaraunts and cafes nearby. Parking is expensive.
“Good New Haven Hotel”
I had never been to New Haven and was hoping to find a confortable, clean place to stay walking distance from Yale and Yale Nursing School. The Omni met my needs nicely.
