“i would go back”

This hotel was nice and clean you have a friendly's restaurant right in the hotel and a dinner next to the hotel. the pool was nice and warm and very clean. there was no noise going on in the pool very relaxing in the jacuzzi and the sauna, the next time i go back to milford i will defenetly stay there .the cost of the hotel is excellent.

“It was fine”

We found the hotel to be convenient - with a good diner on one side and a restaurant on the other. It was on a busy road: The Boston Post Road - but our room was quiet. The pool looked ok; there was a family w/kids enjoying it when we looked in. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The A/C worked. The TV worked. The coffee maker always had coffee packages replaced. Our room had a microwave and a small fridge, with a sink and another small fridge in an alcove. It's not a new building; nor is it in a Hyatt price category. The employees at the desk were pleasant and helpful [manager, asst mngr?] although there were a couple of younger ones working one night who didn't seem to know the area very well. There are malls nearby and it is close to I-95. We would stay there again. A "3" rating seems a little low - overall, I'd put it between a "3" and a "4".

“Broken toilets, bedbugs, and a pool”

The Howard Johnson's of Milford Connecticut has a dirt cheap rate for a reason. You get a pool, hot tub, sauna- and rooms with bedbugs, stained sheets and towels, broken toilets, a wall to wall must and mold. If you have to stay in a hotel for an extended stay and money is a priority, its acceptable- provided you make sure to complain loudly and demand a room change as soon as an issue arrizes. But if you are simply traveling or on vacation with your family- your better off at homeless shelter!

“you get what you pay for”

Not impressed with this hotel, smelled of cigarettes and not clean at all. The comforter had stains on it and the room was very out dated. The only good thing was that it was relatively cheap. Woke up the next morning to noisy neighbors making love (Very thin walls!)

“Nasty”

my first room didnt have a/c we called front desk they moved us to a room were the a/c worked. but then the bathroom looked like it wasnt cleaned properly, it didnt flush correctly the room and overall hotel had a funk to it. Im not sure if that was a hotel or a Motel. It seemed like people were living there its very weird. I checked out a day early. Was there for a Zumba certification class on sunday and checked out that evening couldnt take the filth of it all anymore. Dont recommend this hotel/motel to anyone.

“Nice Hotel”

We (5 of us) were in town for our daughter's graduation and were staying 5 nights in 2 rooms. The desk clerk was very friendly at check-in and other than having to navigate a short flight of stairs, we had few problems. One room was short a coffee pot and hair dryer, but when we called the desk, they brought them right up. I was skeptical based on the reviews I had read, but found the hotel to be very nice and clean and the staff was quite friendly. The Atheno's diner next door had wonderful breakfast dishes and a friendly staff as well.

For the price of this hotel, and the location it is a great place. Don,t expect too much and you will not be disappointed.

“not like the lasttime”

bed was very uncomfortable, i have a knee injury and had to walk up one hallway cross halfway across another to get the the elevator to have to walk down the long hall to the room. not pleasing we asked for more pillow which we didn't get and we had a do not disture sign on the door with the maid opening the door and disturbing us and asking if we where checking out when we paid for two nites. bed was very old and uncomfortable
