“Pay for parking??”

Got a room through online distributor and found out when we arrived that parking in their almost empty lot on Thanksgiving weekend would cost 15 bucks. Plus taxes, etc., we should have stayed further out of town.

“"Not impressed with the service"”

I hope that because of a misunderstanding, but our room was not made the last day we stayed there, and we had to ask for towels as the dirty ones had not been changed.

“Very Good Value”

We've been here once before and it was much as we remembered it -- extremely convenient for Yale and the museums and a pleasant comfortable hotel (also very easy to find by car once you get off the highway.) This time we particularly noticed how friendly the hotel staff was -- especially in the small restaurant where you can get breakfast. The selection isn't huge but what we ordered was very good. Extra for parking but the hotel rate was reasonable -- also they let us leave the car there for a few hours after we checked out.

“Noisy”

The hotel lobby was under construction and parking cost $15.00, which was not made known prior to the reservation. The room was neat, and comfortable, however, was extremely noisy, making it difficult to get a restfull sleep.

“Scary neighborhood”

Scary neighborhood. Heard sirens all night. Across the street had scary people hanging out. Although the staff was nice, I wouldn't stay here again.

“Noisy!! Couldn't sleep.”

Without advance notification by front desk, we were given handicapped room with no shower stall or tub. Room was on ground floor next to busy street with traffic late at night which kept us awake. Soundfproofing was non-existent.

Area recommendations

Neighborhood fine if we had been roomed on higher, less noisy floor.

“would do it again”

I would go back to the area and would stay at the same hotel. It was comfortable, very clean and convenient. A pool would have been VERY nice. That was the only thing missing.
