“Quite alright”

The Ramada needs a bit of a face lift. The carpets in the room and public area were stained. The concierge desk was not attended only some brochures on the desk. The reception staff was friendly but did not seem to be able to give much information about activities ect. Only 2 staff members gave a very professional impression the others seemed to be insecure but friendly at all times but not very enganged. The buffet breakfast in the revolving restaurant was quite good but also quite expensive. Overall it was an enoyable stay but I would rate the hotel probably 3 to 3.5 stars and not 4. The main thing missing was some personal touch and service culture.

“Good but not Great”

Overall we had a good but not great experience. On checkin we were given a room, and when we got up to it it was not the superior 2 room we had booked but a single room suite - there was no explanation of this, when we questioned it they said none available, and when we pointed out the confirmed booking sudeny there was one available. Room servicing was variable - only clean/replace cups/glasses if they were put it back in the storage area - if you left your used glass on the bedside table, it was still there when you came back. Hotel location is good a short walk from the main Anse Vate beach area. We were initially suprised by the cost of drinks in the bar, but then found it was comparable to other local spots. Cocktials are very poor - not salt rim on the margahritas ! We also had one very disturbed night of sleep when guests in another room were having an all night noisy party on their balconey, the hotel could not/did not do anything about this. !

“not impressed”

English certainly was a big barrier,even though there was usually one person around around that would speak english, they gave the impression they didn't want to understand anyway. Our room was overlooking the racetrack, and a fairly busy road. We would have paid for an upgrade but felt it would have been too much to ask, and that is where the difference in the service here in Australia and the difference in Noumea's service is.

“Ramada Plaza Nouméa excellent”

Très bon hôtel personnels sympathiques, restaurant très bien, petit déjeuner gargantuesque avec la vue à 360° sur Nouméa très agréable. Bref un bon séjour.

“schönes Hotel entsprach unseren Erwartungen”

Das Hotel war so wie wir gehofft haben. Die Restaurants waren sehr gut.

“Bien mais propreté à revoir”

Globalement le Ramada est un bon hotel très bien situé. Le personnel est très arrangeant (notre chambre n'étant pas dispo à notre arrivée, nous en avons eu une autre, le buffet du petit déjeuner est vraiment divin et malgré le manque de place car week-end de Pâques, le maitre d'hotel a réussi à nous trouver une table). Par contre un plateau repas est resté 3 jours dans le couloir menant à notre chambre et la propeté de la chambre est un peu juste (poussière pas faite tous les jours et reste de cheveux dans la salle de bain). Leur resto panoramique est a faire, service impeccable et nourriture délicieuse. Bonne carte des vins.
