On arrival we were greeted at the door and luggage taken from us. Friendly, professional and smartly dressed reception staffed greeted us with curtesy and the booking in process was quick and we were escorted to our room and shown all the facilities in it and our luggage arrived within five minutes. The room was spotless and air conditioned which was a godsend as the temperature outside peaked at 37 degrees during our stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they all had a great use of English so communication was no problem. The food at breakfast was excellent. Loads of selections for everyone's taste.

The enchanting hotel blends the warmth of intuitive service and modernist design with revitalized piece of Viennas history …More
- I made a booking for a twin room - on arrival I was told that there was no twin room available - we were given a king sized bed instead.
- I found all the Reception staff (except one) quite blunt and direct - they definitely could have been more welcoming.
- Spacious Reception area
- Quiet location - never heard a thing at night - excellent!
- Felt very safe
- Nice selection of food at breakfast
- They even gave me plasters at Reception!
- They stored our bags in their luggage room the day we were leaving the hotel which meant we didn't have to take them around the city with us during our last day - good customer service.
Hotel is conveniently located for sightseeing and is well priced for the amenities it has to offer. It takes around 25 minute walk to get to the city center.
Staff was efficient, however sadly to say to the point of unfriendly.
The hotel is well situated near the museum quarter and within walking distance of major cultural venues. We had a room that was large by European standards, with a very good bathroom. Breakfast was at a very acceptable level without being anything special. The Hotel staff differed from person to person in their attitude and general competence. One member forgot to send off our laundray for two days, which was awkward for us. Another tried to cover the mistake, but a third apologised profusely and offered us a free breakfast which was appreciated. The rooms are immacutely cllean, wifi is good, and we enjoyed our stay.
Once a poor, overcrowded neighbourhood of textile workers, the 7th Bezirk has regenerated into a trendy student enclave. Visitors hone in on the feisty modern art in the MuseumsQuartier, while cafés, pubs and a thriving folk music and theatre scene keep Neubau humming into the wee hours.
