“Xtabi is the place to stay in Negril's Westend”

We had a wonderful time at the Xtabi. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. A beautiful place to stay. We were only a few steps away from the pool and loved to go for a swim. Rooms are clean and we had a large patio. The Restaurant and bar feature anything to your liking. We can recommend this place highly and will book at the Xtabi again.

“The High Rating Is Misleading”

I chose Xtabi based on the high rating, but I was extremely disappointed. The decor was old and dirty looking, the pillows were thin, the pillow cases had spots, the sink sprays water everywhere, there was often no water. The door to the balcony had no drape over the window so we had to cover it with a towel for privacy. The pool was dirty and about the size of a private pool. I wish I had gone with one of the other resorts I was considering because they seemed much nicer in person.

“Perfect!”

Xtabi is the best choice for anyone who wants to visit Jamaica! The staf people are kind, polite and always able to help and show you around! Go to Xtabi and enjoy your trip!

“Breaktaking View, Tranquil Setting”

I was really impressed with Xtabi. The grounds are immaculate. My room was spacious and equipped with everything except a telephone. Maybe as we move into the 21st century, Xtabi will add telephones to all the rooms. COMPLIMENTARY WIFI is available. It's on the cliffs if that's something that you enjoy! I'm not into cliff diving but watching others was a blast. The staff make you feel at home...from the front desk to Sherry (housekeeper) to Omar (Security).....I felt so much love. I didn't have any problems walking up and down the streets to the local vendors. Samsara is the across the street and Rick's is only a taxi ride away. All the action was on the beach but that's only a taxi ride away......Two Thumbs Up!

“Very Satisfied Customers...”

We enjoyed our cabin on the cliffs and will return again due to it's centralized location where we could enjoy several walkable dining options. Snorkeling just outside the steps was always spectacular. The outdoor showers were a great addition to the experience and the ocean resplendent.

“Xtabi Resort!”

This is definitely a great hotel to stay at in Negril. It's peaceful, quiet and right on the cliffs. Well, it's across the street, but close enough! The staff is very friendly and very accomodating. Anytime we needed something or help, they were more than willing to assist. The ladies in the office were so sweet and always nice - very good people! Xtabi bar/restaurant is a great place. Relaxing and enjoyable scenery. It's right on the cliffs and you can see people swimming, jumping and just having fun. Omar is definitely a great bartender and very awesome. This is a great place to stay.

“Friendly Staff”

The staff at Xtabi made us feel welcomed and comfortable during our stay, especially Michael and Omar. We liked the atmosphere on the cliffs side of Negril instead of the beach side. You always hear how crazy the drivers are and how dangerous it is to cross the streets, but we didn't have any issues with that. In fact, we walked up and down the road often without incident. Being on the cliffs side also kept us away from most of the high-pressure peddling we experienced when we went to the beach.

“Xtabi " Where the God's meet"”

Xtabi was a delightful suprise consdierng it had a 3 star rating. The service, atmosphere and cleanliness were equal to any five star resort I have stayed at. The staff were beyond friendly and made me feel like I was living at home rather than in a hotel. The grounds are like the garden of Eden and the location on the Weast end Road in Negril is as good as it gets.

“Great Resort on a budget!”

Xtabi is a great resort! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The regular rooms aren't spectacular, but let's face it, you don't go to Jamaica to stay in your room! The snorkeling around the resort is fun, lots of things to see. The jumping platform is a blast to use and watch people use :) Three Dives is right next door and their food is fantastic!
