“Not for 5-star lovers but JUST RIGHT for authentic Jamaica seekers”
I stayed at this hotel for the 2011 Reggae Marathon. It was the perfect location. Walking distance from the start of the race and right on the beautiful 7 mile beach. This hotel is quaint and comfortable and clean. The jerk chicken by the restaurant on the beach is excellent. The staff is very helpful and courteous. It's not five star, but it was just right for an authentic Jamaica seeker.
“Loved it!”
I really enjoyed my stay. The service was great and the free breakfast was the icing on the cake!

“Awesome! My Jamaican Home”
Stayed at TH my frist trip to JA 18 years ago. Jamaica and the TH stole my heart and I get back as often as possible. The staff is awesome and most have worked there for years. I've developed some real friendships and appreciate their dedication and service in making sure each and every trip is as good as the last. It's nice to be picked up at the airport by someone you've known for years and talk up to the bar and they know your name. TH has an "atomosphere" that you can't describe.
“Best vacation ever!”
The Negril Tree House is centrally located on 7 mile beach. The hotel was very good for our desired type of vacation. It is not one of the Super Clubs and only serves breakfast, however, thats was perfect as we wanted to try a variety of the local restaurants and food. Breakfast was OK but not a lot of variety. Most of the restaurants in the area are fantastic and accept credit cards or US currancy if you dont want to exchange but check the rates and you will want to keep some cash on hand for purchases, tips, etc. Cabs are available and prices are reasonable. Take a drive down to West End to see the cliffs at Rick's Cafe for sunset or any of the many restaurants there. Locals are very friendly and will try to sell you everything they can but a simple "no thank you" is all you need if you are not interested. The beach is very lively during the day right up through dinner but generally calm at night. We went for New Years Eve and bonfires are found along the beach at various places and there is plenty of night life to be found should you want. I have stayed at all inclusives and the food is sometimes questionable so this was a great way to go where we wanted. It was simply perfect in everyway but it depends on the type of vacation you want. Super Clubs are more expensive but you don't spend a lot of time in your room and you have to eat at their restaurants and may have a dress code in some places. We went casual the entire week and you never run out of things to see or do.
“One of the Best Hotels on Negril Beach”
Negril Tree always exceed my expectations. As a frequent visitor to Jamaica, I always unwind on the beach at the Negril Tree House. The experience is one that cannot be explained--you must see it for yourself and will not have regrets! If the Tree House is booked, stay at CoCo LaPalm. They are both the best on the beach. The only tip I would recommend is not to book taxi rides or excersions through the tour desk--they are a bit pricey. Arrange excersions through an indepedent agent such as JUTA. For taxi rides, go to the street and hail down a taxi. The cost should not exceed $100JA up and down the beach. Cliff rides may be a little bit more , but avoid the tour desk at the hotels.
“Good enough for short vacation, Eat isn't great”
This place was ok, right on the beach. Atleast breakfast was free. Staff is friendly and courteous. Appears that alot of locals stay there but no bothers you except for people on the beach trying to sell you stuff. I wouldnt necessarily stay here again but it is ok. Alot of tourist in this particular area so. make sure u bargain with the taxi drivers, they like to switch up the prices alot.
“Will positivally go back again!”
The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean and the food was excellent!
“perfect,clean and safe beach trip”
The breakfast was excellent and the staff were professional. Yes the bar was expensive compared to some and the food was overpriced but good. Security was not great but the complex felt safe. The free ice was a great idea. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towel. A private balcony would have been better and I was glad not to be in a room on the ground floor near the paths but otherwise was very pleased. The gardens were lovely and I was glad not to be at the back of the complex near the road which gets noisy at times. This was not our first choice of hotel and we usually stay on the cliffs of Negril but I felt this trip was a real bargain and would go back to the Tree House
“Safe & comfortable”
If you just want to spend quality time with your family/loved ones, this is the perfect spot. Your on your own without any hassle. Just relaxing, swimming or walking on the beach. If you want the night life, glitter and glamour you must go elsewhere. This hotel is great for a family it is comfortable, & safe. The staff is willing to answer questions or help book an event/tour for any events you choose. The Hotel offers a free buffet breakfast every morning which is delicious and plentiful. I enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to return to this quiet Hotel.
